Description
Thekla Court, self catering apartments, is situated in the outskirts of the authentic, historic, small and welcoming town of Polis. The location is peaceful, yet central with an ideal climate. The nearest beach, Chrysochou Bay, is 20 min walk away (5 min by car), and an 8 min stroll brings you to the town centre with its friendly atmosphere, excellent restaurants for eating out, bars, internet cafes, outside entertainment, banks, supermarkets and interesting shops. Polis provides a pleasant environment for a relaxing or romantic holiday and is also an ideal base for activities, e.g. cycling, biking, hiking, snorkeling, scuba-diving, coastal cruises, quad biking etc.
This spacious (38.07 sq meter) Studio (102) is on the first floor, is designed for enjoyable living and has great view to the sea and the mountains. It is ideal for friends or couples and has its own private Sunny balcony. The property (3 apartments) benefits from its own private sunny terrace & pool and even a secluded roof terrace - ideal for sun lovers and evening drinks. Outside areas are fully equipped with sun beds and tables and chairs for outside meals and drinks.
This Studio has been fitted to a very high standard and include fly screens, air conditioning and central heating. It has a light and very spacious living area with full entertainment system including Satellite TV (NileSat), internet access via Wifi (additional cost, if internet access is required, please request it when you book), a large double bed, fully fitted wardrobes, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities.
For a small child on the sofabed and for discounted stays (for 2 weeks or more) please request a quote from the owner.
The first 10 meters up to Thekla Court are at a steep gradient, the next 100 meters slope gently uphill; all manageable if of average fitness level - even if elderly.

Response from the owner Dear Guest, We are pleased that you had a pleasant stay in our well equipped studio. Thank you very much for the tips on what we can do to improve the experience for future guests. The TV instructions are in the set of equipment guides provided, but in case it has been removed, we will replace it. A bedside reading lamp will be provided at our first opportunity. There are streetlights on Smyrnis, but we have asked the council to provide some more, hopefully they will do so very soon. However, Polis is a very safe town, so walking at night on Smyrnis would have been just fine even if it has one or two lights missing. However, we can also leave a torch in the Studio for guests to use.

It is good to see that you and your daughter and her friend enjoyed our property and the benefit of being able to both share your experience and also have some independent space. For larger groups then the 2 bedroom apartment (can accommodate 6) is of course also very useful such arrangements. It is a pity you were disturbed by our neighbours' dogs, but we are in the process of discussing this with them so this should not happen again, dogs can after all be kept inside during the night.
