Description

La Bonne Marie is a detached country stone cottage, in a quiet rural location. The cottage is fully centrally heated for the winter months and has a delightful swimming pool for the summer months. The house is in a very secure space with an acre of garden dedicated to the cottage, this has a patio area with garden furniture, bbq and summer house.The house and garden are completely private.

La Bonne Marie ideally sleeps 4-5 people but can accommodate 6 people max, the main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has a double bed plus a single bunk bed above. We do also have a cot.There is a single bed in the hallway. There is a large open plan area containing the lounge, kitchen and dining area. Kitchen contains all crockery, knives, forks spoons and glasses for a minimum of 8 people. There is a gas cooker, fridge with small freezer section. Washing machine, Ironing board and iron are provided. There is a wood burner in the cottage for the winter months - a generous basket of wood is provided & more wood can be supplied at an additional small cost.

This cottage is meant to be a home from home therefore you will find: UK and French TV, dvd/cd player. Selection of DVD's and CD's. WIFI is also available. High chair - on request. Leather massage chair. Large shower room. Linen and towels provided.

Getting around

The roads in France are great, the motorways are very well maintained and easy to use. Your definitely need a car though.

Interaction with guest

We will meet you on your arrival and show you around the house and garden. We live on the same site however the cottage is completely detached the house and garden is completely private. We will clean the swimming pool every morning in the Summer months and water the plants but this is done early morning so as not to inconvenience our guests. If you need any advice you can come and find us and we will be happy to help.

House rules

Smoking is allowed in the VIP lounge (Summer House) or the garden but not the house. If you bring your dog and want to leave it in the house whilst you go out we are happy to offer a walking service by prior notice.We ask that the dog is not left in the house alone for more than say 4-5 hrs - however we are happy to let your dog out if you let us know you will be out longer than the 5 hrs.

Le chalet n'a jamais été décrit comme un «Hobbit maison» avant, mais il a quelques poutres basses - les gens étaient évidemment plus courte en 1534 qui était quand il a été construit. Debra. The house has never been described as a 'Hobbit house' before but it is true it does have some low beams, people were obviously shorter in 1534, which was when the house was built. Debra

How do damage deposits work?
