Description

The Gargaleo farm is a farmhouse of the XVII century, with a charming apartment furnished with the taste of real country house, with antique furniture and modern art. The farm of about 80 hectares, is conducted with organic methods since 1994 is located a few kilometers from the beaches awarded the Blue Flag in 2018 and close to Matera, the city of culture 2019. The Mastic apartment has the name of one of the olive trees typical of the Mediterranean in the company. Equipped with its own entrance on a bathroom, a living room with kitchenette and sofa bed, has a comfortable bedroom with double bed and bunk beds; the fireplace in the living room, air conditioning and color TV round out the apartment's equipment; outside garden tables and chairs for a comfortable relaxing and a wonderful playground available to children of all ages. The Masseria is Gargaleo farm, and offers all guests a discount for a guided tour of the farm museum set up in the country, a unique opportunity to see first hand the way in which we lived until 50 years ago. Our apartment is an excellent accommodation for families or groups looking for a different holiday to the discovery of unique atrmosfere, to enjoy the sea and fascinating excursions. The owners devote great care to welcome the guests, which recommend places to visit and beaches do not miss, because the holiday in Basilicata is unique and unforgettable. Living in an organic farm you can also buy locally fruits and vegetables freshly picked, as well as the extraordinary bio extra virgin olive oil, inserted in 2016 in the oils of Italy Guide Gambero Rosso.
