Sandy’s Lakeside Dunes House is a charming 4 Bedroom, 2 ¼ bath lakefront vacation home with a private dock on the western shore of Woahink Lake. This beautiful rustic home is located just 5 minutes south of Old Town Florence. The large deck is perfect for enjoying a morning sunrise with a fresh brewed cup of coffee or winding down the day while having that perfect BBQ. Sandy’s Lakeside Dunes House sleeps 8 comfortably. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare your favorite meals.

Between the living room and Family room there is plenty of separation and space with large 36” TVs and DVD Players in each room. For those who are nostalgic game players there is even a Pac Man/Galaga home video arcade game machine.

Beachcombing, ATV’s, sandboarding, dune buggies, horseback riding, kite flying and long sandy walks are a few of the most popular beach and water activities that are available.

Bring your kayaks and canoes and paddle through quiet estuaries along the north shores. Don't forget your fishing gear as Woahink Lake, located just south of Florence is one of over 27 lakes in the Florence area known for trophy fish. Bring your quads and sand toys and have a fantastic time at the sand dunes just 2 minutes’ drive from the Sandy’s Lakeside Dunes House. Visit Old Town Florence and explore the wonderful bistros, restaurants, galleries, and shops along Bay Street. Just ten minutes north along the coast you’ll find fun in the sun and surf at the fabulous Heceta Beach and of course don’t forget to visit the world famous and most photographed Heceta Head Lighthouse as well as the Sea Lion Caves! Sandy’s lakeside Dunes House is located just a short drive from two world class golf courses, the Ocean Dunes and the Florence Golf Links Golf Courses! Bring your fishing gear and go Salmon Fishing on the Siuslaw River! At low tide bring your boots, shovel and buckets and hunt for razor clams. No Boat Needed!! Try crabbing right off the docks in Old Town Florence. For the outdoors person enjoy the many hiking trails in the area and some of the finest scenery around.

This home is a quick drive from multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean beaches including the popular access just out South Jetty Road, and the city of Florence is five miles north. The charming Old Town section of the city is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants. You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The 
coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean. Some trails wind up, over, and through sand dunes, offering hikers the opportunity to experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Bring your camera! Paddle Siltcoos River between Siltcoos Lake and the Pacific Ocean. This slow-moving, three-mile river is so ideal for paddlers that it’s a designated Canoe Trail.
 Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are offered daily. Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing pier at the end of South Jetty road where crabbing is excellent from late spring until the fresh water from winter rains force the crabs out to the ocean.

*PARKING: Parking is limited to 3 cars or 2 plus a small boat trailer. NO RV's Half of our driveway has been decommissioned and unusable.

There was plenty of room for our family of 5, we literally did not need to bring anything but food. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved the back deck and the hot tub was amazing and priv… More
