Enjoy a holiday away from the crowds! In a traditional Slovenian house in a village near to Bled, our holiday apartments are surrounded by picturesque views and superb walking and cycling country. We offer a peaceful haven for relaxation. We chose the house for its ideal location in a tranquil village surrounded by beautiful scenery, yet just 1.8 km from the busy tourist resort of Bled.
The self-contained Terrace Apartment occupies the whole of the ground floor, with its own entrance. You get the whole apartment and its spacious terrace to yourself. It has one double bedroom and sleeps 2 persons comfortably. The lounge has a comfortable settee and some additional chairs. The spacious open plan living area looks out through a patio door onto the garden and terrace.
We have always achieved the highest standards of cleanliness. To protect against virus infection, we follow the ECDC standards to clean and disinfect our property.
The views from the garden are stunning, with fine views of the Alps bordering Austria, and views across the river valley.
The modern kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer and contains all of the utensils necessary for cooking. In the village there is an excellent "local" restaurant and a well-stocked shop and bakery that sells basic provisions.
We provide all bedding and towels.
In colder months evenings in front of the wood stove and the large TV are special delights.
The large garden and terrace provide plenty of space for sitting outside and there is a barbeque for those lazy summer evenings.
The house has a lawned garden, with pleasant spaces for eating out, relaxing in the sun, or chilling out with a glass of wine after a day’s activities.
Getting around is easy. There lots of astounding walking and cycling routes. We provide our own guides of local walks starting from our house to help you get the most from your stay.
To go further afield public transport from Bled is excellent. During July and August a free tourist shuttle bus will take you from our village into Bled. There are coach tours to many tourist attractions. If you have a car, there is easy access to the main AutoRoute and all the many attractions of Slovenia.
Try swimming in Lake Bled in summer, or biking, canoeing, rafting, pony-trekking, fishing, golf, mountaineering and much, much more. This beautiful country also offers many sightseeing opportunities including the Julian Alps and the famous Triglav National Park as well as many places of historical and cultural interest.
Outside of the summer season, spring and autumn are also beautiful times in Slovenia, ideal for rambling, cycling and many other outdoor activities.
