Situated in the most prestigious location of High Ridge, Madliena. A beautiful location neighboring Sliema and St. Julians and their surrounding promenade. High Ridge is also situated minutes away from the villages of St.Paul's Bay and Bugibba which are best known for their beautiful and picturesque sea views. Villa Sunnyside enjoys a spacious living room overlooking the pool. Property features also a game room and play area for children, a sunny pool with sun loungers for chilling out, and a BBQ area for entertaining by night or day! Nearby towns for entertainment are in Sliema, St.Julians offering clubs, cinema, restaurants, pubs, children's recreation area, lovely walks by the Spinola promenade, sandy/rocky beaches, shopping malls. Valletta, the capital city is just reached within 20 minutes by car. The residence is close to the beaches in the north, and all amenities. Car rental is recommended for touring the island but public transport is nearby. Totally private and peaceful. Ideal for families seeking relaxation, romantic getaways, sea/country lovers, group of friends, rural vacation.

Getting around

Car is not necessary but recommended for touring the island. Guests can make use of the Public Transport just 5 minutes on foot down the road to the bus stop.

Interaction with guest

Villas are located in the complex with each property with its own private entrance. For late arrivals guests are requested to collect keys from key safe boxes located near each main door of each property. Staff is onsite during the morning hours. Onsite is a shared indoor pool with free access and hours allocated. Nearby area is a village packed with supermarkets and all local amenities which the guest can make us of during their stay. Public transport and nearby beaches are within easy reach on foot. Car is not necessary but recommended for touring the island.

House rules

At Sunnyside we set house rules in moderation. However since the area is a residential and quiet, we have strict rules on loud noises and music, partying, indecent behaviour and splashing in the pool by the late hours of the night. This results in disturbing the neighbourhood and if advice is not followed and honoured charges apply.

Response from the owner Dear Guest The deposit was requested for 1000€ since you were a large group and when there is partying involved it is taken into consideration. The deposit was agreed on €500 after verifications of guests and their ages. The tube light was broken by someone/anyone who could be from the party. It does not come off by itself. Nails were still in wall intact. the guest reported it the next day. staff came to replace immediately. yes unfortunately as agreed on the booking, anything broken comes at a cost. every bathroom comes with 2 toilet rolls, hand towels, shower gel and bath towels for each guest. supplies in kitchen, were also stocked. whilst i visited the next day, none complained of anything to be provided or something that is missing. Since it was a party, the guest has agreed to do some trips at Blue Lagoon which I eventually adviced that on arrival we can discuss of what you would like since there was a large group and none of the guest might be present, or meet just on the day. Boat trips are great to explore the island and the coastline of malta. We offer a very good price fully inclusive of open bar and light lunch with free transport just outside the property with return. Whereas other companies dont do and you will need at least 20 minute walk to the next bus station for pick up. Well might be cheaper doing it yourself and getting the whereabouts, but its everyones opinion. Jane
