Le Pressoir is a fully restored 200 year old thatched Breton cottage with the traditional ridge of flowers including irises. Exquisite and attractive it has breathtaking views, colourful flower borders and lots of character inside.
A magnificent setting beside the River Blavet with glorious views of the entire valley. Several superb sandy beaches within 20-30 minutes' drive. Private heated swimming pool with security alarm installed & discreet fence to ensure child safety. Set in 3 acres of gardens. Free WiFi available for guests.

Ground floor: spacious 30ft living room with feature full height glazed former barn door, dining area, farmhouse style oak kitchen, double bedroom and family bathroom.
First floor: master kingsize bedroom with archway to dressing room and ensuite bathroom, twin bedded room with space for a third foldaway bed.

Private heated swimming pool (with discreet fence and safety alarm to ensure child safety) set in 3 acres of lawns with table tennis, badminton, swings, boules and gate access to the towpath beside the river. Bicycle hire locally (BRING YOUR OWN HELMETS) with delivery to the cottage for you.

“An idillic place”
We stayed at Le Pressoir back in June 2015 and what an idillic place !!! Wonderful souvenirs. The 3 cottages are absolutely gorgeous, and the whole area is immaculate. There is absolutely everything you could need in the cottage including baby equipment like cot (very comfy) and high chair. The swimming pool is amazing, nice warm and clean with beautiful views. Loads of space to play games in the garden and best of all you've got direct access to a beautiful walk by the river (gate at bottom of the garden). Perfectly placed with loads to visit very close by and a lovely village just 5 mins drive for that all important fresh croissants in the morning. All in all a magical place.

“Peaceful, relaxing and slightly magical”
I have brought my family to La Garenne for the last 5 years for a weeks holiday in early June. Even the glorious photographs on the webiste fail to do justice to the extraordinary location and charm of the cottages. Each has something different to offer but all are very comfortable and well looked after. Our favourite is Le Pressoir, mainly for the view from the terrace over the fields and the Blavet and the mountains beyond. A typical day might include a leisurely breakfast (admiring that view) followed by a drive to one of the many local markets, lunch, back to La Garenne for a cycle along the river to the local cafe for a coffee, then back for a late afternoon swim, glass of wine, chat with neighbours, game of badminton, dinner, more wine, book next to the fire and bed. If that sounds like your sort of holiday then this is the place to do it.
