Description
Luxury small seafront villas, semi detached with split level, open plan interiors with sun patio enjoying panoramic views of the Saronic Gulf and the Peleponnese mainland including the islands of Spetses and Dokos. This ever changing vista culminates in some spectacular sunsets as the sun slowly sinks behind the hills of the mainland. These self contained villas offer the ultimate in relaxation in a tranquil part of an island where cars, motorbikes and even bicycles are prohibited. Transport is by sea taxi or take the scenic coast path along to the town.
Brand new for 2014 the development provides accommodation to the highest standards and is licensed by EOT,the Greek Tourism Organisation. There is a small beach a few steps below the accommodation as well as an organised beach at the nearby Four Seasons resort just a three minute stroll away where coffee, refreshments and fine seafood is served.
Just below the accommodation is the jetty where shuttle boats travel to and from the port every fifteen minutes to half hour during the summer months, or alternatively take the coastal path for a 40 minute walk through the village of Kamini to the main town where a variety of restaurants, tavernas, bars and coffee shops can be found.
Hydra enjoys a particular micro climate and HydraVista is located in the quiet area of Plakes Vlichou where a tranquility is only interrupted by the occasional passing donket or boat.
We have the choice of two villas, one smaller for a couple, with a larger unit in the same design to accommodate a family of three with a sofa bed in the sitting area.

“We left our hearts in Hydra ...”
The landlord gave us a very warm and friendly welcome in the harbour café, accompanied by many recommendations and assistance for a smooth and delightful two week stay in his unique house in Plakes. It sleeps like a princess on the pea (wonderful beds), in a bright and clear interior design – a great achievement considering that everything was transported by mules. In January/February long and beautiful hikes lead us thru parts of the island which was green, with flourishing almond trees and many spring flowers. The islanders gave us true joy by their open smiles. We have saved precious feelings of happiness and superb souvenirs from Hydra.
