Description

Piggery Cottage sits adjacent but separate to the owners property in a large plot of around 3/4 acre which is bordered on two sides by fields. There is ample parking in front of the cottage and a screened patio area to the rear. It is comprised of one large living room with kitchen area and double bedroom with en suite shower room. The living room has sofa bed, dining table and chairs, TV, DVD player, board games and WiFi internet access. The kitchen area has a single electric oven and hob, under the counter fridge with ice box, microwave, kettle and toaster. The bedroom has a double bed and clothes storage and en suite shower room with toilet, basin and electric shower. Heating is by electric heater in all rooms, included in rental charge. Linen and towels are also included. The cottage is suitable for guests with limited mobility; all on one level and car parking immediately outside the front door. The entrance has 2 small steps but a ramp is available on request. Access at the rear of the property is via french doors to a small gravelled patio with table and chairs, chiminea and barbecue. Visitors are welcome to use the owners garden beyond.

“Nice little place.”

What a lovely little place. Spotlessly clean, well equipped with all you need, and nicely decorated. Nice little touches, including providing bread, milk, orange juice, and as we'd booked it for a 40th Birthday a little note saying Happy Birthday and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Lovely large shower, and modern bathroom. Nice patio area with BBQ and large open garden. Quiet, peaceful location.. lovely and relaxing. Wem is around 3 miles away, and Whitchurch around 6 miles away. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Response from the owner Thank you for your comments. We have had a couple of recent comments about the bed so have now purchased a new mattress. We are sorry your stay was marred by your dog getting out into our neighbouring farmers field. The garden is described as enclosed rather than secure; it is bordered by fences and hedges and this is the first instance of a dog “escaping” in four years of letting. We suggest dogs are not let out unattended, especially at night, when the noises and smells of the local wildlife (fox, rabbit, badger!) is very tempting and we will make sure future guests with dogs are made aware of this on arrival.

Little piggy cottage is a lovely place to stay it’s quite lovely country sides and a lot of walk to go on . You can bring your pets and the owner,s are really nice pleasant and lovely

We stayed here for a short break. The cottage was central to .all the places we wanted to see.. Chester is well worth a visit. The cottage was warm neat and cozy with a large shared garden.
