Description
Relaxing escape to the country in a unique barn conversion. Renovated to a high standard this property boasts a four star plus grading. A romantic retreat for couples in the rolling countryside yet only ten minutes from Bangor, Donaghadee, and Newtownards and thirty minutes from Belfast. Recharge in peace and privacy on the private balcony. Colourful gardens all around with unique rock pond. Exposed beams and stone walls throughout. The downstairs bedroom has a natural rock face wall.
Mount Stewart, Strangford Lough, Scrabo Tower and Killynether Country Park, Bangor Walled Garden, Helen's Tower and Clandeboye Country Park, Crafordsburn Country Park, Ballyholme beach, Groomsport, Orlock National Trust coastal paths - all are within 15 - 20 min drive. The Ulster Folk and Transport museum are reachable within 20 min. Passing George Best City Airport Titanic Museum is just 5 min drive further.
Horse riding, fishing, shooting and archery within 5 mins.
Eden pottery and Copeland's distillery and much more to be explored.
Dogs to cover additional cleaning £20 per stay and ONLY by prior arrangement.

House rules
Friendly dogs are subject to an extra charge of £20 for the first dog and £10 for the second for the duration of the stay payable on arrival. Only accepted after consultation and acceptance of dog house rules. NB livestock in surrounding fields. Cats and dogs live in and around the other cottages.
Later check out by prior arrangement. Happy to oblige if no guest following in that same day.

“Splendid stay at Orchard Cottage”
A well equipped old farm cottage. Lovely outside seating area overlooking fields. Ulster Folk Museum down the road. Malcolm was an excellentr and friendly host. Would recommend.
