DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCATION:
Perched on the small green hill top at the border of picturesque Dalmatian village Smolonje in Omis countryside, amongst mature trees, is the stylish, private retreat Villa Mosor. With 180 degrees of stunning views, this modern house has a positively enviable location that resides in utter peace, away from the hubbub of the busy city and other traditional villages that decorate part of the panorama. Mosor Mountain is to „blame“for villa's name and forms the dreamy centerpiece of a sweeping views.
DESCRIPTION OF THE EXTERIOR:
Within the grounds of the house itself, a gorgeous infinity pool is surrounded by extensive sun patios. A large outdoor living area, complete with 6 long sofas, dining table and barbeque and complete outdoor kitchen, adorns the poolside patio to allow the glorious weather to be enjoyed in absolute comfort. Outdoor lounges and cooking and dining areas extend the practical living space, and with a relaxed indoor-outdoor flow, the guests can move freely between the two and interchange at wish. As well as a beautiful location and 820 square meter estate, the 240 square meter indoor house gives the guest an immense area for living, though the interior has been designed in such a way that the house still feels like a family home rather than appearing cold.
The private infinity pool (30 m2) offers a spot of outdoor luxury, where one can take exercise or indulge relaxation. Alternatively, a bank of sun loungers fill the large poolside deck (vast 100 m2) where days can be spent basking in the sunshine. Outside, the traditional stone architecture is warm and fairytale like, while it meets contemporary architecture of the house and pool boldly and proudly.
Exterior up lightning creates a cozy glow around the entire property, making it possible to enjoy exterior spaces into the late evening.
The holiday home benefits from ultimate privacy and security within kilometers site. Naturally framed by greenery, the three level house feels completely intimate and peacefully secluded in park-like surrounds.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERIOR:
The villa is fully air-conditioned/heated and covered with full-cover Wi-Fi.
The stone hallways and staircases are wide and airy and lit by modern spotlight. They give a chic main entrance which sets the tone for the interior of the house. It leads to a crispy contemporary first floor.
The first floor includes living room with cozy couch and large TV (Satellite+DVD), dining table for 12 (adjustable from 6-12 sitting places), cozy kitchen with a large fridge, dishwasher and all electrical utensils you can imagine + a view to the pool while washing dishes by hand if preferred. New tableware and cooking utensils are provided. In the living room, cheerful blue couch brings colour to otherwise Scandinavian white decor scheme. Two bedrooms with double beds are on this floor accompanied with luxurious bathroom complete with vanity units, wide basins and bathtub. The first floor bathroom is equipped with laundry machine. Each bedroom is furnished with cozy closet area, but also equipped by chic with special unique palette of soft colours on headboard wall, over the 5 star comfortable beds. Glorious views are enjoyed from the serenely decorated bedrooms: the view on the main garden and pool, the elevated garden, Mosor Mountain, creek, trees...
All rooms fight a hard tight battle on which one is the best. That stands for first and second floor rooms, as well as for bathrooms which combining several Italian style tiles, each give a unique set of relaxation, glow, luxury and creativity.
The second floor comprises of 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each (1 double and 2 single beds, easily converted to double) + en suite bathrooms.
Two additional beds are added into a guest sleep space with ease + baby bed.
The separate area on the second floor is a Jacuzzi room (whirlpool, hot tub for 4 people) with a separate shower tub and lounge chairs. The concrete that forms the building remains exposed across ceiling and selected walls contrasted by the warmth of wood and floor heating, imitating contrast of astonishing mountain Mosor and trees you enjoy viewing while relaxing in the Jacuzzi.
Each floor has 2 vast private balconies with infinite view. Resin wicker armchairs and table on side balcony area give you a chance to always be able to catch or get away from the sun comfortably, no matter what time of the day.
Ground floor provides a secure car garage but also a playroom (table tennis) and cellar.
You can plan your days as you feel like it. Villa Mosor is just perfect for you!

“Luxury accommodation with delightful hosts”
This is a fantastic villa located in a quiet but accessible village just 20 mins from nearby Omis. Owners Marijana and Robert could not have been more welcoming and even came out to see us all one night to share a special local dish and their homemade wine. The Villa is well equipped with wifi throughout and all as per their description and photos, with an exceptionally high standard of facilities and decor and extremely high levels of cleanliness. The owners also helped to arrange trips and activities and always responded immediately to any enquiries both prior to our holiday and during our stay. With a mix of old and young guests in our group, there was plenty to keep everyone occupied. A car is required given the location especially as there are no shops/restaurants close by. However given the stunning views from the Villa we were more than happy to eat in and to make use of the fantastic wood fire/bbq by the pool - though we also found an excellent restaurant in nearby Omis too. Wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this villa

“Deluxe retreat in the hills”
The owners greeted us with a generous welcome of local artisan products and fruit. The property is nearly new, immaculate and well equipped. There is a bathroom for every room with 3 en-suite. Super quiet air con in each room was just wonderful. The pool was shoulder depth and clean with loads of space around it for relaxing or even outdoor cooking. Try not to hit the beach ball over the infinity edge! Situated in the hills, its a short drive from Omis, on decent roads, and well worth the travel to experience the view and complete tranquility. The only traffic seemed to be the 9:30 bakery van, laden down with pastries. Its worth noting its not so far to the brand new A1 motorway, about 15 mins drive away, so a day excursion south to Makarska area is easy. In future it may even go straight to Dubrovnik. Beware traffic jams in to Omis in peak season. We loved our day out rafting on the river Cetina- highly recommended. Also try heading over the local roads via Kostanje to Brela beach. Allegedly one of Forbes Magazine Top 10 beaches in the world, its fairly developed and busy, but a sophisticated spot to relax, swim and eat. Sometimes hard to find a small beach on the coast so get there early and grab a map from an info point.
