Description
Wisteria Lodge is a luxurious 150 square meter apartment situated on a 5000 sq. m. garden block. We are a comfortable 15 minute drive from Launceston CBD and at the gateway to the Tamar Wine Region. The rate is incredibly affordable and a continental breakfast can be left in the kitchen at our distinguished guests request.
The unit comprises of an Entry Foyer under the beautiful wisteria grove. To the right of the entry foyer is the main bedroom with a queen size bed. Through the Walk in Robe and Dressing Room ( can be set up with a single bed ) is the 3 person Spa Bath with a Towel Drier and a separate Toilet.
To the left of Entry Foyer is a sizable Rumpus-Living-Dining Room, equipped with a billiard table and an entertaining unit. There are many games and a small CD- DVD library, including Christian. You can watch your favorite show on TV, connected to a crisp sound system , while playing billiards or a game of cards.
There are so many things to do: Tamar Wetland Centre, Zoo, Nottley Gorge Rain-Forrest, beautiful Wineries and Eateries, a Gold Mine at Beaconsfield, a Platypus and a Seahorse place at Beauty Point. Enjoy the Dial Ranges, Greens Beach, George Town and Low Head with a Light house and it's Penguins. The Cataract Gorge at Launceston and Ben Lomond National Park.
We are a 2 hour trip to Hobart, 2.5 hours to Cradle Mountains, Table Cape at Wynyard and a further 30 min. to The Nut at Stanley.
There are beautiful places on the East Coast within 2 hours away: The Bay of Fires, Freycinet Peninsula, Bicheno- the Gold Coast of Tasmania.
Oh, there are so many places to see and so many things to do, or you can just laze around contemplating, watching the birds and wildlife. The choice is yours.
