Description

Studio Ski Apartment with 'coin montagne' (sleeps 4) in the popular Flaine Foret area, 1 hr 15 mins from Geneva airport, 550 miles from Calais.

The accommodation comprises a purpose built bunk bed suitable for adults or children in the entrance hallway. The bathroom is off the hallway with a large bath, with shower attachment use black toggle to switch between bath and shower, hand basin and toilet. The living room has two sofa's, one being a clic clack double sofa bed. There is a dining table and chairs, and plenty of storage. Flat screen TV (with UK channels) and DVD/CD player. The kitchen area has a 4 ring hob, a full oven, a new fridge with ice box, a toaster, and kettle. Also there is plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking implements. The apartment has building heat and an electric heater that you control, and there is always plenty of hot water.

Facing north and in a quiet position with excellent views of the mountain (top floor), plenty of lifts in the building for easy access. There is a ski locker on the ground floor. The resort is 'car free', so 1.5 hours is allowed for unloading your car outside the apartment and then your car can be parked in one of the resort's car parks.

Duvets and pillows provided. Please bring own towels and sheets and tea towels .

The apartment is a 150m walk to the pistes, lift ticket office, ski school rendezvous and a carpet lift to green/blue slopes and the 8 man Grand Vans ski lift which links to the extensive Grand Massif ski area. At the same spot is a red slope providing access to the lifts for the whole Flaine area.

Within 50m are ski school booking offices for ESF and several food shops,bars and restaurants, there are also two lifts that connect Flaine Foret to Flaine Forum with additional shops, restaurants and bars, also for the tourist office, medical centre and pharmacy.

Other resorts easy to reach are a 1hr drive to Chamonix, Courmayeur , Les Contamines or Lets Gets (portes de soleil).

Comfortable weeks stay. Owners very helpful prior to & during our stay. Good location. Quiet and clean. Well equipped, had everything we needed.
