Description
Apartments Lucia - New apartment launched on internet in May 2014. We have had our apartment for a few years, & many people from Ireland and elsewhere have used it, some of have given reviews.
This apartment is located on the first floor one of two in a detached building each comprising 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and a terrace area. if the dates you require are unavailable check the ground floor ( Holiday Letting property no 6556874 )
It Is located overlooking the Sea in Prigradica on the island of Korcula. The harbour promenade is the heart of the village which has a Hotel, Cafe Bar, local shop, Local produce stall, Traditional Croatian Restaurant. There is also volley ball, Water polo, Basket ball & football played. There are Festivals organised by the locals with food Wine & Music held during on various dates throughout the season.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms one of having 2 full size bunks sleeping 4 it has a window for natural ventilation and air conditioning for heat or cooling. The second bedroom has a double bed and a window looking out over the harbour. It also has air conditioning. The Living area has a large comfortable Sofa bed that sleeps two adults easily and a storage compartment for the bedding when not pulled out. This area is also air conditioned. Digital television DVD Player Radio is available. It has a well equipped kitchen with full size fridge freezer, Hob & Oven, Microwave, Toaster, Electric Pan, all kitchen utensils.

“Perfect!”
We spent a wonderful 2 weeks here and were so glad we picked this apartment. It was clean, comfortable and the owners answered all our queries promptly. The best thing was the wonderful terrace overlooking the harbour with plenty of room for outdoor dining. The village itself is idyllic and the house is just steps away from the little beach and harbour. There’s a small shop for groceries, 2 lovely restaurants and a bar for coffee, drinks and ice cream. Blato and Vela Luka are close by for more shops and restaurants if you need them. There are 2 strips of beach but my kids preferred just jumping in the harbour. There are tourists here but the overwhelming feeling is of an authentic Croatian village where all the families know each other, kids play football on the street and fisherman prepare fish right at the waters edge, we loved it! We travelled all over beautiful Korcula and enjoyed it all but we didn’t find anywhere as magical as Prigradica!

“Even better than it looks”
We spent ten wonderful days here at the end of August, and had a fantastic holiday. Prigradica is a quiet little port, very beautiful and with all the facilities you could need. The local shop is remarkable; how they cram so much into such a small space I don't know. The restaurants on the harbour front are well worth visiting, but the seafront bar was probably our favourite for a good lunch or an evening ice cream. The house is simply fantastic. Very well laid out so that we (5) felt there was plenty of space for us all. It was very well and thoughtfully equipped, and spotlessly clean throughout. You can tell that the owners really care. The photos look good, but the reality was much better. The place was just great! Great views from the terrace, which was a perfect place to sit with a morning coffee and watch the locals going about their business before wandering down a few steps to the beach for a dip in the clear waters. We had a car and visited other parts of the island, which has lots to offer. Watersports, boat hire, Korcula Town and Vela Luka kept us every bit as busy as we wanted to be, but there's lots more besides that if you want it. Roads are very good (although not all that straight!) and pass through beautiful unspoilt countryside. Every bend seemed to reveal another spectacular view. We will come back!
