Barley Cottage is a fantastic 3 bedroom house with a newly extended and stylishly decorated open plan kitchen, Dining and Lounge area. The coastal village of Georgeham offers the perfect base for the nearby beaches of Putsborough, Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton. Woolacombe Beach (Putsborough is just 5 minutes away and forms part of the 3 mile long white sands) has been named the 4th best beach in Europe. Putsborough is perfect for surfers, bodyboarders, rock poolers and sandcastle makers with clean surf breaks and immense stretch of beautiful soft sand. Two wonderful child friendly pubs, a large park and the village shop selling a wide range of produce are all on your doorstep. Barley Cottage is fantastically equipped and offers a sunny landscaped garden and BBQ deck area just perfect for sundowners. The cottage has been lovingly decorated throughout to a very high standard featuring stylish Garden Trading lighting and accessories. The lounge and new sitting room both have flat screen tv's and there are plenty of books and board games to enjoy during your stay. The kitchen is exceptionally equipped including a Nespresso coffee machine so you can sit back with an espresso or latte. The main bedroom offers a very comfortable king size bed, Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3 both have bunk beds. Off road parking is available for two cars on the driveway. LIVING AREAS
The cottage has two light and airy sitting rooms. One with two large comfortable sofas with room for everyone, flat screen television and access through the south facing french double doors to the deck and enclosed gardens outside. The NEW FOR 2017 second sitting room is another light and spacious with comfortable seating and another flat screen television.
KITCHEN/DINER
With solid wood floors the open plan kitchen has everything you need for a great holiday, including dishwasher, microwave, electric 4 plate hob with extractor, fan assisted oven, fridge / freezer, toaster and doorway to the south facing deck with access to the garage and washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer as well as numerous buckets and spades!! The kitchen also has a Nespresso coffee machine. The dining area includes seating for six, LCD TV with Freeview, ipod docking station and a library of cookery books. A highchair is available upon request.
BEDROOMS
There are three sizable bedrooms on the first floor, all lovingly furnished. Bedroom One is sizeable and has a king size double bed. Bedroom Two is a great size and has bunk beds and both bedrooms have extensive built-in wardrobes and drawers. Bedroom Three has bunk beds with a chest of drawers and a handy shelving unit. There is a landing area above the stair case with a bookcase and a useful airing cupboard. .
BATHROOMS
There are 2 beautiful modern bathrooms, the family bathroom upstairs has solid wooden flooring, bath, WC & basin and the 2nd bathroom is downstairs with a shower room, WC and basin.
All linen for your stay is provided and beach/bath towels are available for an additional charge.
NO SMOKING PROPERTY
UTILITY new for 2017 a stylish purpose built utility/boot room located just off the decking with washing machine, tumble dryer, an extra fridge/freezer and plenty of storage space.

OUTDOORS
With a garage for storing surfboards, wetsuits and buckets and spades there is ample off road parking for two cars on the driveway at the front of the property and additional parking is available in the free village car park just 150m down the road.
With a table and chairs to seat six the south facing garden and decked area is the ideal place to soak up the sunshine, enjoy the BBQ and al-fresco dining.

“A wonderful holiday cottage, did not want to come home!”
Our stay at Barley Cottage was brilliant. We have two small children aged 6 and 9, both of whom did not want to leave the cottage either. It is so beautifully decorated and everything, really EVERYTHING needed was there. It really is the most wonderful cottage to stay in; comfortable, stylish, cosy, clean, fresh - the garden/ decking area was great to chill out in once the children were in bed. Georgeham is beautiful and really friendly. Croyde, Puttsborough and Braunton five min away - the walk to Puttsborough was great! Nice pubs with friendly locals.
