Description

Typical Catalan stone house in the open countryside with wonderful views of the Pyrenees. It has been refurbished with all modern facilities. There is a large and private garden (more than 3.000mt2) and also include a private swimming pool. The house and its grounds are rented as a whole property and it's suitable for groups of up to six people.

"Quelet" has belonged to our family for 4 generations. The main house was built in 1840 and been renovated and completely refurbished with all comfort and modern facilities, including: TV, Wi-Fi, dishwasher, microwave…

Each room has been repainted in its original colours and re-decorated with modern contemporary furniture, so as to create an authentic and comfortable atmosphere.

The kitchen has been completely refitted with new equipment, so as to present a functional and cosy space. During the winter months, time, people can huddle peacefully around the fireplace there.

The living room is connected directly to a spacious outdoor terrace (47 sq. m.) where you can enjoy pastoral views of the garden, swimming pool, and surrounding countryside.

The garden is about 3,000 sq. m. with a private swimming pool and a charming old outhouse adjoining the farmhouse. We can also offer you seasonal products from our Little vegetable garden

Also I would like to point out a newly renovated large function room located on the ground floor of the farmhouse, which has natural stone walls and an authentic Catalan farmhouse roof structure. It is a charming and special place, with excellent acoustics and a relaxed atmosphere, all at your disposal.

Our house is situated in the area of La Garrotxa, this have been declared a natural park in 1985 as this is the Peninsula's best example of volcanic landscape and one of the most significant in Europe.

VIC: A famous historic center with an impressive central square, that has a big market on Saturdays. http://www.victurisme.cat CAMPRODON: The gateway to the Pyrenees. Tourist village. Nice to visit, you can see shops selling the famous cured sausages, the delicious fuet and llonganissa. SETCASES: Near the Wallter ski station. Fresh air and nice views. VALL DE NURIA: located in the middle of the Pyrenees, the only way to access the valley is by the railway

“Lovely outside space but shabby inside”

The outside space for this property is great all Brit noisy from the nearby road and small from the nearby farm. the inside left us feeling sad there was no hanging space for our clothes the bathroom was very poor quality with a broken shower head the towels where old and different sizes and there was no air conditioning. The freezer was placed in the basement which meant you had to travel downstairs just to get ice for your drinks. The ground floor space was smelly and noisy from the swimming pool pump room

The farmhouse we offer surely did not meet your expectations: I realized it with your comment and the way you left the farmhouse. I've never seen any client so careless. “a great location for a vacation with children”

We stayed in this house for a week with 3 kids 9, 7 & 3 and had a great time. The house is huge and can easily accommodate 8 and more. We especially enjoyed all of the outdoor games that were in the house for our use and the pool. The house is completely equipped with everything you might need in a vacation of this kind and all is perfectly organized.
