Description
The Hamptons is a luxuriously appointed 5 Star interior designed house, which is finished to the highest standard. Set within the leafy streets of Wellswood, with sea views, and private gardens, you could not choose a better place to stay. For the first time, Christmas stays are available. As seen in The Sunday Telegraph.
Nothing has been overlooked when it comes to equipping the home. Stunning furnishings, high tech gadgets and special little touches which are sure to make you never want to leave.
With a choice of 4 sumptuous bedrooms (2 with sea views), each with its own style & character, a good night’s sleep should easily be achieved.

This is a luxury 5 star rental, and as such we appreciate all guests taking the utmost of care while residing here.
All damage must be paid for. A refundable damage deposit of £150 is charged with each booking.
A reasonable supply of electric, gas & water is included in the rental price.

When it comes to location, then the setting of The Hamptons, in Wellswood, couldn't get any better. Wellswood has been described as the Primrose Hill of the Riviera, and with tree lined streets filled with expansive Victorian Villa's and Regency properties, coupled with an exclusive village feel, it is the must have address in The South West.
Lounge
The house has been fully decorated in 2020/2021, has been fully recarpetted in January 2021, and from May 2021 will feature ultra-fast 900MB internet. The delightful large lounge benefits from high ceilings which are complimented by spectacular chandeliers, an opulent Italian marble fireplace, new sofa’s & stylish accessories. Complete with a large 49 inch 4K LED TV, DVD, SKY, IPOD/IPAD DOC. A set of french doors lead to the garden.
Kitchen
A stunning kitchen (updated in January 2019) complete with integrated appliances, including cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & microwave. This room opens up into the atrium dining room, with doors onto a private terrace.
Coffee maker, food processer, liquidiser, kettle, toaster, nespresso coffee machine (bring pods with you) and much more.

The dining area is in the atrium within the kitchen. Doors lead off to a private breakfast terrace.

Hallways
The hallways, stairs & landings are wide & dramatic, a nice reminder of bygone days in grand houses.
The house has been dressed to perfection with lovely artwork, stylish accessories & luxurious touches to ensure every guest feels at home.
Towels & Bed Linen and Towels are included with the rental. Housekeeping is carried out on Saturdays AM (additional housekeeping available on request).
Travel cot is available on request.
A selection of toys, games, books & DVDs are also included in the rental rates.
The house has a driveway for 4 cars. 10 minute walk from Meadfoot Beach. 5 minute walk to Ansteys Cove. 2 minute drive to the award winning Torquay Harbour. Kents Caves 5 minute walk. Illsham Marine drive and its million pound homes 2 minutes walk.
Wellswood Village shops are a 2 min stroll away. Torquay Harbour and shops are a 2 minute drive. Dartmouth, Brixham, Paignton and Exeter all a short drive away. Slightly further but worth the drive are Salcombe, Lympstone, Buddleigh Salterton and Topsham.
The House has new ultra fast fibre broadband.
The Hamptons has a telephone that can make emergency calls only, but can recieve all incoming calls.

The lounge has a set of French doors which lead onto an expansive patio. A dining suite & chairs are provided for your comfort and a large barbecue is also included for those who prefer to dine alfresco. We also have a full outdoor lounge seating area, so you can lounge on the terrace.
Steps lead off the patio down to the garden. A basket ball hoop is located on the side terrace.
At the bottom of the garden there is a gate leading on to Babbacombe Road.

Response from the owner Hi. Thank you for your review. All beds in the house have had mattresses changed and damaged slats, broken by guests, repaired. Also a new bed has been installed in Master suite.

“Fantastic”
What a wonderful, spacious house with all the luxuries. We had a fantastic stay and loved both the inside and outside space. A lovely quiet area but still central and close to numerous beaches and coves - beware of Anstey’s Cove though and the steep walk back up. We will definitely be back to the area and would love to come back to The Hamptons which def was our home from home for the week.
