Quality In Tourism Five Star Gold - Tawny Nook Cottage offers exquisite interiors with spacious surroundings that are sure to delight. The cottage is ideally located to explore the whole county from Hadrians Wall to Holy Island, pepperd with small friendly villages and vast golden beaches. A short drive from Alnwick with its magnificent castle and water gardens. The countryside surrounding the cottage is rich with wildlife, great walking just outside the front door.

“Perfect!!!”
This was our second stay in Tawny Nook. It feels like coming home. Everything is just perfect. There is lots to do in the surrounding area whatever the weather. Can't wait to go back!

We had a lovely holiday the cottage was excellent a great peaceful location very well equipped and it was spotlessly clean. The owners where on hand if there was anything we needed We would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to family and friends.

“Friends recommended this as one of the nicest cottages they'd stayed in....and they weren't wrong!”
We really enjoyed our week at Tawny Nook. The owners live next door and were extremely welcoming & helpful without being intrusive. The standard of accommodation & cleanliness were very high and decor was tasteful and relaxing. We stayed with our 18 month old son who also enjoyed terrorising the sheep in the neighbouring fields. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to be back at some point in the future.
