A brand new ground floor, two-bedroom apartment which is luxuriously finished by a professional interior designer, fully furnished to high standards and enjoying a private large sunny terrace and garden. Located in Fort Chambray - one of the most exclusive areas of the island of Gozo.
The fort was originally built by the Knights of the Order of St John and enjoys panoramic views over the Malta-Gozo-Comino channel. Fort Chambray combines an eclectic and exciting history and has been recently converted to a top quality, traffic free residential area with extensive landscaping. The complex includes 2 large communal swimming pools, each with children's pool and shower facilities.
The apartment is 10 minutes walking distance from the ferry terminal in Mgarr, Gozo and there are also a number of bars and restaurants within walking distance from the Fort. The Gozitan capital of Victoria (or Rabat, the name by which it is known among the locals) is just 10 minutes away by bus and there one can find a number of shopping centres and outlets.
Don't let Gozo's tranquillity fool you – the island is also bubbling with plenty for night lovers too and the Mediterranean's traditionally passionate approach is on hand and appropriate. Nightlife here can be energetic and busy, with a choice of several clubs and bars catering for various tastes. Unique hotspots can be found all over the island but many are concentrated in the Xlendi, Victoria and Marsalforn areas.
This property is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and modern day luxuries. It consists of two spacious double bedrooms, one large main bathroom with both flexible and fixed shower head and bidet, a kitchen with all appliances, a dining area with an extendable glass top dining table and a comfortable living area with a leather sofa and 42 inch LCD TV. All rooms enjoy a large and very nice surrounding terrace, ideal for enjoying outdoor relaxation and dining as it is equipped with sun loungers and a gas-fired BBQ.
Included in the price is also a secure 1 car space located in the underground car park close to the apartment.
The property will be cleaned and prepared prior to each arrival, where fresh bed linen and towels are provided. We do not charge any cleaning fees however we expect that you clean the property and take care of it, just as if it were your own home.

“Private quiet location with stunning nearby vistas”
We stayed in a ground floor apartment with private terrace. No real views from here but around the corner was a magnificent cliff top sea view where you could see for miles around across to Malta, Comino and a great place to see a perfect sunrise. The apartment was clean and modern and had everything you would expect. We rented the two bedroom apartment but there was only bedding for one room. It took another couple of days before we received bedding for the second room which we wanted to make use of also. We also had to pay for the apartment in full on arrival which we found unusual even after paying a deposit before we came to Gozo. Fort Chambray is situated in an isolated spot at the top of the hill and has great character. A car for travel is advisable. There are some lovely communal swimming pools within the complex. Overall, we had a fantastic time on the island of Gozo.

“Fantastic apartment and place to stay”
The apartment had everything that we needed. The garden was a fantastic place to sit and relax. A couple of evenings we stayed in and had a barbecue and a takeaway. Even for the time of year the complex and pools had a relaxing atmosphere. Mario and Anna was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked again for next year.

“Gorgeous Apartment in such a peaceful environment”
We rented the apartment from Mr.Mario Spiteri for our mini honeymoon break. May i say that the owner is such a pleasant, welcoming man and he even offered to collect us from the harbour himself. Booking was so easy and Mario was always readily available to reply to emails almost instantly. The apartment has a modern finish and set to very high standards and was very clean on our arrival. It is fully equipped with anything one might need. The apartment has its own outside garden with a fully functional BBQ, which allowed to make a lovely BBQ on a particular evening :) The apartment is located in a great area, close to all amenities. Its also just a 10 minute walk away from the harbour. The view from Fort Chambray street is so stunning, we could just sit on the benches for hours. The communal pool is also lovely and the whole area is wonderfully peaceful. We will surely return very soon :)

“Fantastic accomodation in a stunning location”
Travelled with husband and daughter who is 15 months and could not have asked for better accommodation. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. A welcome pack of bread milk etc was also very much appreciated since we arrived late in the evening and this saved us going to the supermarket early in the morning! The apartment has its own outside patio area which is enclosed and a great area for young children to run around etc Mario the owner collected us from the airport which was great and made getting there that much easier and less stressful. The apartment is located in a great location for exploring Gozo, we hired a car for a few days and also used the buses. Great beaches, nice pool and fantastic weather, around 28 degrees most days. Lovely places to eat not far from the apartment (say 10 minute walk), can recommend Rexy who even do takeaway pizza etc which was quite handy when we did not want to go out! Would love to return one day to this fantastic island

“Fantastic”
We would like to thank Anna for meeting us at the Harbour firstly and secondly for all the goodies we found in the apartment, Tea, Coffee, Bread, Milk, Butter etc and especially the wine thank you so very much, we had a wonderful stay in Fort Chambray - the apartment had everything including a washing machine I was able to take all my things home clean, how good is that. We are hoping to come again next year and would recommend Mario & Anna's apartment.
