This semi-detached cottage is located on the edge of Stamford Bridge near to York and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.The Barn is a semi-detached cottage near to Stamford Bridge in Yorkshire. The cottage sleeps four people and has one double bedroom, one twin room and a family bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Just a short drive from the city of York and with easy access to the Moors, The Barn is a lovely holiday home in a wonderful area. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.
Amenities: Electric panel heaters. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, Large screen TV with Freeview, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Bike shed. Small lawned garden with patio, furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no smoking. One well-behaved dog welcome. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 20 mins walk. Note: There is a ramp and wide door frames for wheelchair access. Please note: this property only allows Friday check in
Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
Town: Stamford Bridge was a fording point over the River Derwent for a Roman settlement, but nowadays is a town with a selection of shops and restaurants. The village is the site of the Battle of Stamford Bridge on 25 September 1066, which marked the end of the Viking era in Britain.
