Getting around

Its so easy to get around Ocho Rios, because mainly you can walk every where.. I do have a list of taxi drivers in the apartment, however Big John is always at the entrance ready to take you around Knutsford express is situated right opposite Turtle Towers, these are air conditioned buses and will take you in style to Kingston, Negril, Port Antonio Want to take a local bus walk up to the market and the local bus station is situated at the back of the market The other way to travel is to take a shared taxi.. you will travel with 4 people in the back and one passenger in the front..

Hi I do live in london and am usually in Jamaica for the winter, so i wont always be there to meet you... You will be in the safe hands of Millicent your housekeeper who has been working with me for over 6 years now.. she will be meeting you and giving you the keys to the apartment and will show you how everything works.

We are right next to the beach...please try not to bring the sand into the apartment there is a shower right next to the swimming pool..also a foot shower..

Response from the owner Thankyou Betty for your review, it was a pleasure arranging your transfers a service which is offered to all my guests. I understand from the photos(of food dishes)sent to me by Akeem (chef) you both enjoyed tasty Jamaican dishes cooked freshly on the premises. I empathise that you were Not Impressed with the points mentioned and I will certainly endeavour to put everything right, although some points were unfounded. 1. The glass was plastic so couldn't of had a crack, Millicent(housekeeper) explained to me that guests do put them in the freezer so it may have looked cracked. 2. The shower head in the en-suite is new. 3.There are always tea towels in the kitchen. 4. The toilets do flush 4. I asked Millicent re the patio door.. and she said she explained to you to unlock the door first before pulling it.. 5. The light bulb has blown (I will get it replaced) however this doesn't impact on the amount of lighting as there are 5 other lightings in the lounge/kitchen. I am pleased to read that in spite of everything you still had a nice time..and of course you are both welcome back

I feel I must point out there was a miscommunication I did think it was 2 couples as I wasnt told anything different.. I could have been told this when Tanesha entered the apartment and found the layout..using the same communication when she contacted me to say they had car trouble... I am not going to defend myself re charging for the extra bedding.. as the bedding was taken from a locked cupboard (which if you really squeeze our hand through it can be pulled out) and the charge was minimal..

I will take on board your comments, I have provided mobile phones in the past, however they are either lost or get broken, the alternative is to phone reception for an outside line...the a/c units are like any other, the only difference is you have to close the window for it to work... I agree the music from Margaritaville can be a bit annoying, but it doesn't play every night.. I agree also that Millicent your housekeeper is top class...
