4 bedroom villa, sleeps 8. Set in 1.5 acre tropical garden with spectacular views across Koggala Lake. Peaceful and secluded setting, but only 10 minutes from the beach by tuktuk. Great wildlife viewing. 50ft infinity swimming pool. Exceptional cook. All meals at cost. All bedrooms have lake views, aircon, fans, mosquito net & ensuite. 4G wifi. TV/games room and library. Ideal for those wanting a relaxing getaway, the villa is situated in a stunningly beautiful location on a hillside overlooking Koggala lake, just over a mile from the beach and 30 minutes from Galle, but in total tranquillity, far away from the noise and crowds. It is accessed via a 200m track through the cinnamon plantations which are the only neighbours.
There are 4 staff: Sonali (Cook/ housekeeper) and her husband, Lasantha, who looks after the house and swimming pool, Raja the gardener and Saman, the nightwatchman.
Sonali speaks excellent English and will ensure you have a wonderful time. She is an exceptional cook, who has published her own cookbook and will prepare all your meals and shop for you, if you wish. All dietary requirements and preferences can be catered for. Meals are not included in the rental price, but the only additional cost is for the ingredients and transport. Try a seafood BBQ on the sun terrace, fuelled by coconut shells.
