“Campbell cottage”
Excellent house for a family holiday. Great accommodation, lovely bedrooms and living areas. Very clean and all equipment and utensils provided. Lovely welcome pack , greatly appreciated! Great base for exploring the north coast. Portballintrae is a lovely area to stay in and Bushmills has lots of lovely eating establishments.

“5* accommodation”
Very enjoyable stay at Campbell’s cottage. Philip was very accommodating. The cottage was beautiful & spotlessly clean. Loved the colourful exterior & seaside theme. 5-10 minutes walk to the gorgeous beach & Portballintrae centre. The perfect base for exploring the North coast. Highly recommend & look forward to staying again.

“Very comfortable cottage with a good location”
The cottage is very modern and well-equipped. It is in an excellent location for the sights. Not far from Bushmills which has several good restaurants. The welcome pack was much appreciated - especially the bush mills whiskey.

Response from the owner Many thanks for your review Julian. In regards to your comments: Garden - There is a large communal garden where we have personally hosted bbqs for c. 16 people with no real challenges so unsure why you feel "a barbq might be tricky" Bathrooms - Whilst there are no windows in the bathroom there are vents and heated towel rails and in the 14 years of owning the cottage ourselves or from what we believe any of our previous guests have never experienced any damp problems There is a large wardrobe in the hall area and also a large chest of drawers in the main bedroom. I am not sure what more you might require given the short length of time you stayed in the cottage.Again the bedrooms are clearly photographed and would be small but perfectly comfortable. We find most people use the bedrooms only for sleeping in as they are out visiting the beautiful surrounding areas and amenities. From a value for money perspective many of our reviews ( almost exclusively 5 star) point out the excellent value for money the cottage offers. I suppose like many things these things are all about perception and possibly what you are used to. Kind regards Philip Campbell. :
