Welcome to The Victorian Barn Countryside Estate, your family friendly getaway set in the stunning surroundings of rural Dorset.
Set in 65 acres of picturesque countryside, our accommodation boasts beautiful barn conversions, cottages and lodges nestled in the heart of the scenic Thomas Hardy country.
The Victorian Barn Countryside Estates spacious self-catering accommodation is perfect for any occasion, from mini-breaks, to family holidays, we can help make your occasion one to remember!
With the historic Jurassic Coast just 20 miles away and lots of lovely local pubs and restaurants nearby there is plenty to explore when you book your stay at The Victorian Barn Countryside Estate Dorset.
We welcome bookings of all shapes and sizes. With wonderful outside space, and superb leisure facilities, your stay promises to be as fun-filled, or relaxed as you desire. With a heated indoor pool & sauna, private hot tubs, games room, activity suite, fishing lakes and an outdoor play area for the kids, we have something for everyone during your stay. We also have ample free parking, EV charger and unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi for those who want to be connected.
Situated within The Victorian Barn itself, Helena is a beautiful property sleeping eight and comprises of four ensuite bedrooms, a sizeable kitchen and a spacious living room with 50" SMART TV.
A spacious barn conversion originally a Victorian cattle barn built in 1849 and sympathetically converted in 2009 retaining many period features.
Helena benefits from amazing rural views, large patio and a warm bubbling hot tub to provide the best in rest and relaxation on your countryside break.
First Floor
Two ensuite king bedrooms (two guests each) with floor to ceiling windows and blackout curtains. Space for a cot.
Two ensuite twin bedrooms (two guests each) one with Velux windows and blackout blinds and the other with floor to ceiling windows and blackout curtains.
Three ensuite high pressure shower rooms with heated towel rails, wash hand basins & WCs.
One ensuite bathroom (attached to a twin bedroom) with heated towel rail, full size bath with shower over, bidet, wash hand basin & WC.
Our bedrooms boast comfortable memory foam mattresses with plush pillows and duvets (non feather), compact TVs, fitted wardrobes, dressing tables, bedside tables & full length mirrors.
Ground Floor
Fully equipped kitchen with double oven and ceramic hob, tall fridge freezer and dishwasher. Plus dining table and chairs for eight guests.
Spacious lounge with sumptuous leather sofas, foot stool, mahogany coffee table and nest of tables plus 50" Smart TV.

Outdoor Area
Amazing views towards open countryside with Bulbarrow Hill, the second highest point in Dorset in full view.
Helena features a patio area with picnic furniture, perfect for dining alfresco!
Plus there is a personal outdoor warm bubbling hot tub and open plan lush green lawn for outdoor fun and play or to just breath in the fresh countryside air and to relax upon.
For guests convenience this property also benefits from an outdoor drying line.
