A comfortably-furnished cosy cottage in the heart of East Portlemouth Village, set high above the Salcombe Estuary, opposite Salcombe ( not in Salcombe but with access to it in daytime by pedestrian ferry ) ..
In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with superb views, ideal for sailors, walkers, birdwatchers and families. The excellent Mill Bay and Gara Rock beaches are nearby. Unspoilt countryside and coast. Sleeps 6 ( 5 adults max ).
NB : Guests must bring their own standard size bedsheets, duvet covers, pillow covers and towels

“Lovely, feels remote but good access to beaches, idyllic views and felt like a real get away.”
Primrose Cottage is a lovely cottage and has everything you need whilst on holiday. My children loved it and it felt like a home away from home.

Response from the owner We are sorry if there were cobwebs and afterwards took steps to see that this is not repeated. We have always employed local professional cleaners before every letting, whose details and telephone numbers are displayed prominently in the kitchen, with a request for them to be contacted in the event of any problem, but they were not contacted. The remaining points should have been fairly obvious from a study of the photos and information which we placed on the website and a glance at a road atlas. However, it's interesting to see that someone does not love Primrose Cottage and its location as much as we do. Allen Chubb

“Super location, ideal for walking to beaches and Salcombe”
Primrose Cottage is ideally situated for walkers, surfers, sailors, and families young and old, to enjoy access to local beaches, the Venus cafe overlooking Salcombe harbour, the foot ferry to Salcombe, fine views from East Portlemouth village seating up the Salcombe estuary to Kingsbridge in the north, and quiet peaceful enjoyment of the area. Its situation allows families to safely allow older children to walk down the path to the cafe and harbour side unaccompanied, giving an independence they relish.
