Description
A gorgeous apartment in an old farmhouse in the 17th century hamlet of Belmonte, a very authentic, picturesque place on the hills overlooking Lake Como. The house is located in front of the village and has a magnificent view over Lake Como, the Alps and the lovely village of St.Anna. Behind the house are a maze of alleyways and stone stairs, true Italian rusticity! Ideal for couples as well as families.
Across the street is a new swimming pool, heated with environmentally friendly solar panels, overlooking gorgeous Lake Como. The pool is only for residents of the building, so you usually have it all for yourself!
The child friendly apartment is located on the second floor, and accessible through a stone staircase on the side of the building. You can also walk around to get in through the back, so still accessible for the physically challenged. Behind the house, there is room for children, to safely play in the small alley leading to a quaint square with an antique water pump.
The large balcony (seats four / five people) provides a breathtaking view of Lake Como and the surrounding Alps. The apartment has just been renovated but preserving the elements of its 17th century history. The interior is of high quality, suitable for families with 2 or 3 (young) children or for couples.
There is:
* a spacious living room, modern and new kitchen (dishwasher, refrigerator, oven / microwave and coffee/tea machine), fireplace, television (cable) and DVD player, and balcony with furniture. It is safe for children, protected by the high railing, but of course, keeping them in sight is always recommended. Further there is a bathroom with bath / shower and washing machine;
* a spacious bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. Also a small bedroom with 3 beds (bunk beds and a pull out bed) and plentiful storage. There is an additional sofa cum bed in the living room for added comfort!
* Pool 6 x 4 meters, with sun-bathing area, deck chairs etc overlooking Lake Como.
We also have a terraced apartment on top of the previous apartment, Belmonte Vista. This makes it ideal to rent together and go away on holidays with family and friends. You have the privacy of the fully equipped, individual apartments yet be together on holidays.

Response from the owner Dear Serge, Thanks for your kind reply. Firstly great to note that you had a good time at the apartment! We have taken your feedback into account and have spoken to our agents to fix the issue with the WiFi. They have replaced the router so thanks for informing us about it. As for the TV, it is mainly set up to watch movies with the attached DVD player as there are only local Italian channels :-)! Also, the cleaning will be attended to more.. “Heerlijk appartement met prachtig uitzicht”
Wat een fijne plek is dit! Het mooi gerenoveerde appartement heeft een prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Het is comfortabel en licht, met alle luxe die je nodig hebt. Veel privacy doordat het wat 'verstopt' ligt in een oud pand. Veel charmante dorpjes in de omgeving, lekker eten. Echt een super-bestemming, vlak aan het Como-meer, maar toch weg van de drukte.

“Geweldig uitzicht en heerlijk comfortabel appartement”
Weekje aan het Comomeer. Mooi appartement op rustige plek met prachtig uitzicht over het meer en de bergen rondom. Naast uitstapjes naar mooie dorpjes ook naar skigebied gereden en een dag heerlijk geskied. Skigebied prima bereikbaar via rustige weg. Appartement in mooi gerenoveerd oud pand. Voldoende ruimte en privacy. We gaan zeker nog een keer terug om in de zomer te genieten van het meer.

“Enjoying panaromic views in total relaxation”
The place is ideal for rest seekers. The village is totally laid-back and managed to bring me in a state of total relaxation as soon as we entered it. There is hardly any traffic on the road beneath the appartment. In the master bedroom I managed to sleep 10-11 hours in one go because it was so quite! During our stay of one week we had very different weather circumstances during the day, ranging from cloudy and cool till sunny and hot. All weather conditions offered opportunity to different type of outings: a walk in the neighbourhood or a visit to a nearby museum during the cool times and swimming in the pool or lake during the hot times. The place is also an excellent base for going on longer daytrips around lake Como. The panoramic view from the balcony is awesome and with various weather types never gets boring. How we enjoyed the lightening spectacle at night!

“The perfect holiday home for a stay at Lake Como”
Casa Belmonte is a really great appartment, situated in a small village in the mountains with superb view over the lake. The appartment is very comfortable and cosy, and has everything you need for a wonderfull holiday (good kitchen, beds, comfortable couch etc). We stayed there with two kids of 4 and 7, and they liked the property very much, not only because of the swimmingpool. Casa Belmonte is a great location for day trips like boattrips to the other side of the lake, but also to spend lazy days at the beaches nearby, or for a hiking day. We have great memories of this holiday and for sure will return!
