Description
The SEA URCHIN is a large studio (30 square meters ) with two single beds that can be connected to form a large double. It has its own private entrance from the west side of the property and with the best possible view of the sea and the village from its private balcony. There is air conditioning but also a very quiet ceiling fun.
This is ideal for couples that what to relax in a comfortable place and explore our area. However, an extra folding bed or baby cot can be added if you are 3 people.
The studio is located in a peaceful area with easy parking but just 10 minutes walk to the village and 200 meters from the sea.
There are many sandy beaches all around our area that you have to explore and choose from.
Ermioni town is very close to many famous historical sites and islands which you can visit on daily excursions (Nafplio, Epidavros, Mycenae, Hydra island, Spetses Island and Poros islands or even Athens or the south of Peloponnese).
PS. We advice you to always let us know about your specific needs in terms of days of stay, arrival/departure times, extra person, baby cot, transportation, etc. We are very flexible and we can make special arrangements if we know in advance.

- The property is located in the quietest and most peaceful area of the village with very easy parking and no traffic.- Ideal area for walks with great sea views all around.
- Just 10 minutes walk through the beautiful old town to the center of Ermioni and the two ports.
- On the north side of the Studio there is a small balcony with a table & arm chairs. It has the best possible view of the village, the sea & the port, the mountains and the forest in the entrance of the village.
- The view extends to the "Bisti" pinetree forest at the end of the village and Hydra island in the horizon, all in front of the studio's balcony.

“Superb studio in wonderful location with friendly and welcoming hosts.”
Before we left for our fortnight in Ermioni, Nikos and Yota (the owners) sent us masses of appetite whetting background information about Ermioni and the surrounding area, as well as directions by road from Athens airport. When we arrived Yota met us at the port and showed us the way up the hill to the Sea Urchin Studio and also looked after us magnifyicently, regularly presenting us with a range of sweet treats during our stay. The studio is ideally situated in a peaceful location at the top of the hill, 10-15 minutes walk through the narrow winding streets of old Ermioni to the port, which is really the centre of the village. The view from our balcony over the village and the bay beyond was stupendous! Most mornings we would watch the sun rise over the bay and then go for an early morning jog round the shore that runs along both sides of the peninsula and around Bisti – the wooded park beyond the village at the peninsula’s tip (sometimes stopping briefly for a swim) before having breakfast at one of the many places to eat in the port, watching fishermen selling their catch. Ermioni is quiet yet lively, a bit off the tourist track with a real sense of community (don’t miss the local market on Thursday mornings!) There is lots to visit in the surrounding area too, including numerous beaches, caves - including the Cave of Franchthi, which housed the oldest human settlement in the world (23,000BC), the impressive Katafyki Gorge, Epidavros with its 2500 year old theatre and also the islands of Poros, Hydra, and Spetses. There is lots of information on the web, “Ermioni info” is a good starting point. Apart from the balcony, the studio is well equipped with a 3 hob cooker and oven - no microwave - which is adequate for basic holiday cooking, and the old fashioned ceiling fan helped to keep us cool (there is also air conditioning, which we did not use)

“Very Professional and thoughtfully supportive hospitality contributing to a perfect holiday”
Pre holiday information and communication efficient, factual and helpful. There were no surprises on arrival except that we were more than pleasantly surprised. Our hosts arranged to personaly meet us at the airport and to transport us to our apartment - this was a big bonus having traveled for 22 hours. The apartment ( one of 4 in a new private hilltop establishment ) was modern,spotless,very well appointed and equipped, with stunning views and discretely private. The coastal town of Ermioni is a wonderful location for 2 weeks of relaxing vacation with beaches ,restaurants, shops, islands and antiquities in easy proximity although a car is necessary to take maximum advantage of all the offerings. A bit off the beaten tourist track means that you are warmly welcomed by the locals and made to feel very special. In this regards our hosts Nikos and Yota were truly exceptional and made our stay very special and enjoyable.

“Great location and outstanding hosts”
The apartment was modern, cool, clean and very well equipped and presented. Bear in mind it is at the top of the old town hill (15 minutes lovely winding walk up hill) - but the result is wonderful views from the balcony. But the best bit is the relaxed, friendly, helpful welcome from Nicos and Yota. They collected us from the ferry, helped orient us and then gave us brilliant suggestions for things to do in our precious few days (and helped organise if needed): eating places, outings to a pre-historic cave, a wonderful beach, and tips for seeing Epidavros (a must see). We hired a small car from Pops Cars in town - good car, friendly service, and we'd strongly recommend a car to get around to see the country side, coast and sights (like Napflio). But allow time to find the rather obscure Pops drop-off centre near Athens Airport if you do a one-way hire like we did. All in all a brilliant place. We loved Ermioni and will be back and for sure staying at one of Nicos and Yota's apartments.

“Great stay in Ermioni”
Unbeatable view! Very nice place and large (30 sq.m) compared to other studios with easy, almost private parking area in a shaded area. Peaceful and relaxing area but still just 10 min walk to the center of Ermioni. First time we visit such a spotless place. Self catering but very well equipped so it is like you were at home. The very quiet ceiling fun was a very good alternative since we didn’t want to use the air conditioning. The welcome pack in the refrigerator (free) also a nice thought of the very helpful and polite lady owner. Hope to be back soon for a longer stay. PS: The 2 larger apartments are excellent for a family or 2 couples.
