Description

Hoemoor Bungalow is set in the beautiful countryside of the Blackdown Hills overlooking the Otter Valley and our working Dairy and beef farm. Hoemoor is easily reached from the A303 along quiet country lanes.

There are 2 bedrooms one double room and one twin room both fully furnished with wardrobes, chest of draws and T.Vs all bed linen and towels are supplied. There is a large kitchen/diner with washing machine, cooker, microwave and dishwasher.

The lounge comfortably seats 4-5 people with T.V and DVD player.The bungalow has oil central heating making it warm and cosy and to feel really snug you can curl up in front of a real log fire (logs extra). In the summer open the large patio doors and relax in your own garden and watch the farm life and wildlife go by. There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. In all the rooms you are surrounded by views either looking over the valley at local farms and animals or into the woodland behind the bungalow where deers are regularly spotted. There are plenty of birds sparrow hawks,buzzards,herons and if you're really lucky Kingfishers by the river.

We also welcome children, there is a small enclosed garden around the bungalow.

We are always more than happy to show you around the farm to see and touch the animals if you are lucky enough to be here on the right day there is always a chance of seeing a cow calving especially in December and January.

It is fully oil central heated, an extra camp bed can be put up. mobile reception is ok on most networks and internet can be obtained by using a dongle. or you are welcome to come into our house and use ours

There are beautiful countryside veiws, there is a enclosed car park for 1 car and steps leading up to the cottage. There is a small gate at the back of the garden leading to fields which are lovely peaceful walks. There is a tennis court in the local village only 10mins away which is available for use all year round. There is a river at the bottom of the valley only a 2min walk which is completely private and available for fishing. The country roads are very quiet which is lovely for walking and cycling and also lead to footpaths.
