At the heart of the Medieval City(Estate) of Coucy-le-Château, just a step from the strengthened door and from his(her) museum, a house in the discreet and authentic charm welcomes you for a stay in family or between friends. You go to discover the covered way, the ramparts and the castle which is formerly the 3rd French place of interest after Versailles and the Mont Saint-Michel.
Former(Old) house with floor, situated at the heart of the village and to 35 km of Laon and 18 km of Soissons. RDC: big room(part,play) to be lived and porch with lounge(show) and open modern and very well equipped cooking(kitchen) (réfrigerateur American, piano of cooking). 1 ch (1 bed 2 pers 160x200) with privative shower-room (Italian shower and washbasin). TOILETS. Laundry with washing machine, tumble-dryer, table and iron. In the floor: 1 ch (1 bed 2 pers 160x200). 2 ch (2 pers beds 190x200). S. of water (Italian-style shower, washbasin and TOILETS). Sheets, bathroom linen and linen: offered. Beds made on arrival. Paying wood: 10€ / basket ( 1st basket offered). Access to the SPA (optional), 300€ for 2 nights.

“Beautiful,well equipped gite surrounded by rolling countryside & historical buildings”
We have just returned from a wonderful holiday to Carole & Arnaud's picturesque gite.The photos do not do it justice with the enclosed garden surrounded by medieval castle walls ideal for our daughter to play boules & run around in safety.The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms comfortable with walk in showers .lots of little quirky decor makes this an individual home especially the wall of plants and being able to feed the indoor fish. Inside the castle walls is a bar ,pizzeria,post office and hotel Belle Vue where we had a lovely meal.The local shop & bakery are in the village about 20min walk away.Everyone we spoke to were very pleasant & friendly as our French isn't great. Places great to visit are Le Chateau de Pierrefonds,a swimming lake at 02700 Terginier, Disneyland Paris an hour away and the medieval spectacular in the castle on Friday & Saturday nights worth a visit with Knights, fire eaters and a fireworks finale. We had such a good time wish we had booked 2 weeks as didn't want to come home.highly recommend a visit.
