Description
Loret is a beautiful French Farmhouse situated in its own valley near Cliousclat in Le Drome, Southern France situated an hour and a half south of Lyon and an hour north of Avignon.
Nestling in the hills, surrounded by oak forest and hay meadows, the house offers complete peace and quiet.
Loret consists of two farmhouses called Drome and Ardeche joined by a large conservatory and drawing room. There is another apartment below (Sud) and another cottage (Provence) further up the valley.
The property can sleep up to 14 guests in total with 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
There is a heated swimming pool (13m), wine cellar, full laundry facilities, two barbeque areas and three terraces and plenty of hammocks.
Le Drome is a stunning under-explored part of France where orchards of apricot and peaches offer endless views and guests can enjoy lazy walks to the nearby villages of Mirmande and Cliousclat.

“Amazing, peaceful, relaxation and beauty.”
The drive from the airport followed the main motorway south, before diverting through quaint romantic villages with local markets and fine wines for sales. The Rhone valley at it’s best. Up the winding hills and through the gate entrance, the expanse of space was striking, I thought, all this to wonder through for the next five days. It felt enchanting. I arrived to the chatter of beautiful song birds and the conversation of good friends. The house was charming. Enough space for everyone to have a little peace for themselves, even with 18 of us, and yet a comforting feeling to make us all feel right at home. The pool was refreshing and the young ones, entertained themselves with table tennis tournaments and bike rides down the through the valley. The surrounding towns had lots to offer with great café, local crafts, history and boating activities on the river. I can’t wait for my next trip back
