Description
In Casa Le Querce you will stay in an almost new house completely immerged in the typical countryside landscape of Cilento overlooking calm hills and the sea at the horizon. Casa Le Querce lies on the border of the small hillside village of Ogliastro Cilento and is surrounded by old olive trees, oak trees and nature. From your huge private terrace you can admire the medieval old town of Ogliastro and look deep into Cilento National Park.
We have 2 small holiday apartments of ca. 40 square meters each and each with its own part of terrace. They have a modern and tasty furniture and are equipped with all you need for your comfortable stay. They dispose each of kitchen, one bedroom with queen size bed, one bedroom with a single bed, bathroom with shower/WC. On the panoramic terrace you have a table with chairs, an armchair inviting you to spend long time there in the shadow of a nice pergola and of course have all your meals there in the midst of calm nature. All balconies and windows are equipped with mosquito nets. Free Wireless Internet and a car parking space in our private property.
In Ogliastro Cilento you can easily buy all foodstuffs, enjoy great coffee and bakery or enjoy a meal in several very good tasting simple restaurants or pizzerias. You can reach the nearest town Agropoli and the seaside in ca. 10min. by car. Our house lies directly on a major road and from here you can easily reach almost every spot within Cilento or some of the most famous spots in Italy in a very reasonable time (Capri, Sorrento, Naples, Amalfi, Ravello, Salerno). We are especially close to the famous Greek temples of ancient Paestum (UNESCO World Heritage) - 15min. by car - and of course to the excavations of Pompeii (70min.) or Herculaneum (80min.). Or you might just want to enjoy the marvellous beaches of Agropoli or Paestum in 10-15min. time. But you also will find many unforgettable sea spots just driving down the beautiful Cilento coast road or discover a fantastic well preserved countryside that was awardet World Heritage by UNESCO.
Hiking, seaside recreation and sports, boat rental, scuba diving, horse riding, mountain bike, culture, sightseeing, Italian way of life, huge variety of top Italian food, Mediterranean Diet, dolce vita, fashion and glamour shopping are just some of the ways how to spend a certainly too short holiday.
