Description
The apartment is a newly converted, 200 years old vine cellar. It is situated on the ground floor of a typical Croatian stone house which dates back to 1800s. You will enjoy a unique, traditional Dalmatian interior. The stone inside will keep you warm in winters and cool in hot Split summers.
Emperor Diocletian's Palace is only 5 minutes away. (You will see similarities between his cellars and your apartment!)
All the bars and restaurants are within walking distance so you can relax in Split without a car. The beaches are 10 to 15 minutes away (by walk!).
If you decide to make a day trip and take a ride, you can visit the Salona ruins (5km), Klis fortress (7km) or maybe the beautiful city of Trogir which is, like Split, one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. (25km)
You can even hop on a ferry and visit one of the nearest islands (Brac, Solta, Hvar...)
