Description
This lovely 2 bed apartment has all you require for a wonderful relaxing holiday. There is a small balcony to sit, eat and drink, or you could lie out on the large patio areas to take full advantage of the Spanish sun. Then just a short 3 minutes' walk and you will be relaxing by the community pool. Venture a little further and you can be on the blue flag beach at Guardamar (10 minute drive through the lemon groves) Also in Guadamar are two wonderful parks, the Alfonso and the Renia Sofia. The pine trees and sand dunes of the Alfonso Park connect the town to the marina and provide a flat walking and cycling route. The Reina Sofia Park has shady trees, rolling grass hills, manmade ponds and many resident squirrels, ducks, terrapins and peacocks! It has an adventure playground area which is floodlit and the nearby children's funfair and night market (both summer only) make for a good evening out. There are many shops and on Wednesday they have a very busy market. Or why not try the beaches of La Marina again a short drive away. The village of La Marina has a high street with a small selection of shops, bars and cafes. You can relax on the sandy beach, picnic underneath the pine trees or take a walk through the sand dunes in the El Pinet Natural Park.
Rojales is on the bank or the River Segura and makes up a stop on the Rio Segura walking and cycling route. It is easy to stroll around Rojales as you always come back to the river, which has a large waterwheel and friendly ducks! There is a town hall and tourist office, the Teatro Capital theatre, a street market once a week, a viewing point from the iconic restored windmill, the Cuveas del Rodeo artists cave houses, the 18 hole La Marquesa Golf Course and the Parque Aquatico water park (open in the summer months) again this is less than 5 minutes away in the car or for those that enjoy a stroll you can walk in 10-15 minutes, the golf course with it's fabulous new bar and swimming pool open for everyone is just a 5 minute walk down the hill. There you will find many fabulous restaurant including the new Indian , Asian/Chinese and the Mexican Steak House , and many more, and if you want to relax by the pool and watch your favourite soaps on the TV as well , you can self-cater using the local supermarket with is just behind the golf club or there is a great Aldi Store just 10 mins drive away.
What else could you want, well if you like Tennis, bowls or horse riding they are all in the area plus a ten pin bowling alley. Bird watching by the salt lakes, or shopping in the shopping mall by the Carrefour supermarket, or the very new shopping mall just down the N322 towards La Zenia. “Lovely apartment”
Spent 10 days at this apartment, well equipped, home from home, very clean and in the beautiful area of Quesada which we love. Fantastic pool to cool down in with plenty of sunbeds around. Would recommend.

“Amazing Apartment Book Book Book”
Totally amazing apartment the pictures don't justify just how lovely this apartment this on arrival it was totally spotless could not believe how clean it was for a rental very spacious too. Got home yesterday from a 16 night stay no complaints the neighbours upstairs who look after the apartment can't do enough for you give you all the local information needed took his time do a drome video for us. Nigel also took his time to speak to my son my who has Asd/Adhd and answer all his questions over and over again can't thank you enough for making us feel right at home. The local neighbours were all friendly too, really felt like home from home it's situated in a really quite road too no noise what so ever. The swimming pool is lush most of time we went it was just literally the 3 of us even when others were there you still had plenty of space. The shops and bars are a ten minute walk down but around 20 minutes back as the hills are so steep but we just took our time and had fun and made memories we won't forget walking back up them. We recommend Steve's for food down the local shops English speaking bar meals are massive and staff are amazing also the Asia restaurant you can get a 3 course meal for 11.95 euros loads to choose from. If you want to travel I would recommend a car our family lived in La herrada so we travelled with them for days out. Air con extremely cold and powerful large fridge sofas really comfortable, Towels beach towels all provided iron and iron board. English and Spanish TV channels available. Swimming pool open from dust till dawn....Just thinking of all the questions I asked Nicky before arrival. The neighbours upstairs can also pick you up and drop you off at the airport if needed. Something we will definitely use in the future. We will return soon. Thank you Nicky for all communication really put my mind at ease. Theresa and Nigel you are such a hard working couple with your own jobs but always made time for us. Hopefully see you soon. Emma, Adam, Anton Xx

“October Sunshine!!”
Lovely apartment in a nice quiet area. Nice 10 minute stroll down to a good selection of bars and restaurants. We visited in October 17 and the weather was perfect! We hired a car and explored the surrounding areas.

The bars and restaurants are all still open but not so busy as in the summer months, same with the beaches. A short break at this time of year is a real treat to set you up for winter months. “Fantastic stay”
Had a really pleasant week and was ideal for a quiet get away, it was a ten minute stroll down to the supermarket and all the bars/restaurants. Very peaceful and quiet. The apartment we stayed in was clean and accommodated us for all we needed. Very reasonably priced aswell. Also very good communication upon booking. Great holiday - thanks
