“August 2017 family vacation”

Reviewed 26 Aug 2017

Cabin was on a quiet street and was nice, especially having the play set in the yard for my 2 young kids. On our last day while packing up though, we found fresh rodent droppings around our sealed food bags on the kitchen counter. We called the owner who said this does sometimes happen with the cabin being in national forest, and that they would have a pest control treatment done. We threw away all of our food that wasn't in the fridge, and overall enjoyed our trip to Big Bear. We also noted to the owner the leaky bathtub faucet, and she said they would have it repaired. We forgot to mention the center section of the sofa spring being blown out and unable to sit on that part, but the 3 bedrooms were also a big bonus when the kids had to sleep or nap.

My friends and I stayed at Kristina's place for a nice summer weekend getaway! The cabin was very clean and perfect for the five of us! Bedrooms provide privacy and the yard outside is very nice for hanging out! We rode bikes, played frisbee and enjoyed the picnic table while grilling. Kristina even has an extensive DVD collection to watch. Bathroom was remodeled and very nice. This cabin is a great place for friends and family to gather while in Big Bear! The lake is a very simple bike ride away. The house was close enough to town and easy to get to. We would definately come back again :)
