Welcome to les Chenes (The Oaks). This popular 2 bedroomed (1 double, 1 twin) country home offers a peaceful and comfortable haven for you to return to after exploring the beautiful area surrounding La Roche Bernard and is perfectly placed for visiting the sandy beaches, fantastic coves and many inland attractions of South Brittany.
Nestling in rural France the well-equipped gite of of les Chenes sits on the edge of the historic village of Sainte Anne with its 16th century chapel and is part of a traditional Breton farmhouse, with 2 foot thick granite stone walls, under a slate roof.
The cottage of les Chenes offers a lovely base to explore from, but, with its pretty south facing garden, you may just want to stay 'home'!
The surrounding area is of mixed woodland, cider apple orchards and farmland and is 5 minutes from the Vilaine River, so absolutely perfect for birdwatching, walking, cycling, sailing and generally exploring the beautiful area surrounding La Roche Bernard. A scenic 20 minute drive takes you to the Bretagne south coast, so again les Chenes is perfectly placed for visiting the sandy beaches & fantastic coves, as well as the many inland attractions of South Brittany.
