Situated on the East coast this traditional brick built holiday chalet is located 6 miles north of Great Yarmouth at the heart of the pretty and popular coastal holiday village of Hemsby well based to explore the many attractions of East Anglia.

Built in the 1960's, this chalet has recently been refurbished, but retains many of the original features and style, with the incorporation of modern features like the bespoke Breakfast bar, with solid beech worktops throughout the kitchen area. An air conditioning unit is provded for guest comfort.

The bright living room and bedrooms are fitted with modern, comfortable carpet or cork tiles, whilst the kitchen and bathroom utilise modern high quality flooring in the style of the original. The bathroom retains the original cast iron enamelled bath.

An insulated roof and double glazed windows have been fitted recently to enhance guest comfort.

This self catering Chalet is at Florida Holiday Park which is a 5 minute walk to the glorious beaches of Newport and Hemsby, famous for mile upon mile of golden sands, sand dunes and bathing in uncrowded conditions. The site is well cared for and the chalets are situated amidst well tended lawns, making it a safe place for children.

The chalet is available to hire from early March until late October. All breaks are for full weeks, Saturday to Saturday.

There are heated indoor swimming pools on adjacent Holiday parks open from May to mid September. Tickets can be purchased either daily or weekly .

There are numerous clubs in the vicinity including the Florida Club on site, which are available for the use of all holiday makers. Many of these clubs provide family entertainment, dancing and live cabaret.

Hemsby also boasts plenty of shopping, amusement arcades, restaurants and take-aways. Great Yarmouth is well known for its beaches and the famous 'Golden Mile' with piers, theatres, the circus, fun fair, amusements and numerous bars and restaurants. On a Wednesday and Saturday a market is held in the town centre, this is very popular with locals and holiday makers. Great Yarmouth also has a number of excellent museums.

This chalet has a strict no smoking and no pets policy.

Guests are responsible for cleaning and must ensure that all surfaces are cleaned in accordance with gov't guidelines.
On final exit on changeover day, all double glazed windows should be left in the semi open latch position. The small ventilation window at the front of the chalet should be left open and locked.

Myself and daughter stayed in this beautifully clean well equipped chalet for a week. The beds were comfy and bedding clean fresh and of a good Standard. The beach and attractions are a 10 min walk away.Coop nearby and a good bus service into Yarmouth.

Response from the owner This guest paid £11 per person, per night, at peak season, for newly refurbished accommodation (an extensive two year refurbishment which has retained the original style of these chalets), including all bed linen (All bedding and linen was new this year) with beds made up on arrival, complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits, flatscreen TV and DVD (yes the signal can fade as we are on the East coast, but guests are warned about this beforehand and we do provide a selection of over 40 DVDs and television games for guests' use), a fully equipped kitchen with all new utensils, including both traditional cooker and new microwave oven, fridge freezer and including a newly fitted bespoke breakfast bar, free use of a heated indoor swimming pool, low wattage lighting throughout, to minimise guests' expenditure on electricity, a selection of children's games and board games, free use of a new cot for guests with smaller children, heating in all rooms, plus a fan for the hotter nights, etc. The site's guard dogs are relatively near and do warn if somebody is prowling in the night, useful for some, an annoyance for others. Although I do not know the clubs opening hours, I have heard people in the club this year. It is a little foreboding from the outside, but is pleasant and well fitted inside, so well worth a visit. The larger holiday sites charge three times the price that we do, with starting prices for their basic accommodation at over £30 per person per night at peak season, that doesn't include many of the features and comforts that we include as standard in our 'very basic accommodation'
