“Cosy cottage”

Reviewed 20 Apr 2019

We spent a relaxing few days here, a lovely clean, tidy cottage with everything catered for. Peter is very friendly and there to help if needed. The bedrooms have very low ceilings which maybe a disadvantage if you are tall. The surrounding area is beautiful with the Trans Pennine Trail a ten minute drive up the road. This is an accessible path suitable for prams and wheelchairs.

“New Year celebrated in a peaceful, rural setting.”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2019

We stayed here for the New Year. The cottage was warm and very homely. Peter had put a lot of thought into ensuring that you had everything you needed, including tea, coffee, milk, eggs, sugar, teatowels, bathroom towels, hairdryer, iron and even a hi-vis vest for when we took our dog out in the dark. There were even electric blankets on the beds. The view from the kitchen window overlooks the farm and moors. Peter popped in after an hour of our arrival to make sure everything was ok, and also later during our stay too. We will definately return.
