Description

Charming stone house Lucija is situated in village Mimice Medici on Adriatic coast, 35km south from town Split. House is completely renovated in 2009.

There are two floors with 103 square meters of living space. On the first floor there is living room and fully equipped kitchen. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms for 6 people and 2 bathrooms. The whole house is air-conditioned and had got Wi-Fi.
In front of the house is big terrace with fantastic view on island Brac. Parking place is also in front of the house.

Medici is a small tourist settlement, situated in the heart of Omis riviera, 10 kilometers south of Omis and 26 kilometers northern of Makarska. Medici is famous for its numerous beautiful pebble beaches and pine forest that stretches all the way to the sea. Surrounded by olive plantations, vineyards and the relaxing tranquility of this true Mediterranean atmosphere, you will spend an unforgettable vacation and escape the rush and the stress of the modern life. Only few hundred meters from Medici, in the nearby village of Mimice you can find a grocery store, a post office and cafe bars. The beaches in Medici are ideal for small children, and for those that seek it, an intimate small beach, a rock or a cave can always be found. There are numerous opportunities for those that seek active holidays and fun.

Due to the vicinity of the towns of Omis and Makarska, the visitors can, amongs others, explore the rich cultural and historical heritage of the surrounding region, enjoy the rafting on the Cetina River, free climbing, scuba diving or windsurfing. For those that seek nightlife and fun, numerous night clubs and disco bars on Makarska and Omis Riviera are the guarantees of an unforgettable holiday.

Response from the owner Dear Florence, we would like to take opportunity to comment on your remarks to all our future guests. Regarding, narrow street to the house. Our house is in the old part of the village so we don't have avenues or wide streets. All the streets in old villages in Dalmatia are narrow because they are made before cars was even invented :-) Also I told to all my guests that the one part of the street is narrow and they didn't have complaint. Regarding parking, you can park in 3 different spots. On terracce, near the terracce between trees or on the main streets. You choose to park on the terracce. Also terracce is only for you not neighbours. Barbecue- it is not my fault if you don't know how to use it since it is normal barbecue. Regarding A.C., prior to your arriving our outer unit was damaged ( broken compressor) and after contacting authorized service they have told us we have to wait at least 4 weeks for compressor to come from USA. We immediately buy two new wall mounted air conditioners and install it, one upstairs and second downstairs so the whole house was cooled. I even buy 3 fans for each room :-) Upon your arriving I have explain you all the situation and your friends was very supportive because they know these things just happend and it is not my fault. Anyway thank you for staying here and wish you all the best, Zorica.
