Description
Irfon Cottage is one of two self catering cottages at Penrheol Farm located 1 and half miles from the town of Builth Wells in Mid Wales. Lovely long walks are accessible from the cottage, where you may see a Red Kite. Close to the Royal Welsh Show Ground, Brecon Beacons, Hay On Wye, and the Elan Valley Dams. Coarse fishing lake half a mile away.
This lovely converted former farm barn has exposed wooden beams, a one bedroom cottage with a super king bed or it can be made into twin beds. An open plan living area that incorporates a fitted kitchen with dishwasher, dining area and seating area with a flat screen TV. Patio doors lead to the patio area and your own private Hot Tub, with the most outstanding panoramic views. A garden a BBQ, Fire Pit and table and chairs for alfesco dining. An outside play area for the children. A laundry room with washer dryer is available for the use of our guests.
Builth Wells has an 18 hole golf course, cinema, theatre, indoor swimming pool and sports centre, fishing and plenty of restaurants.

“Countryside escape and relax....”
Quiet countryside surroundings, 5 minutes drive from Builth Wells with amazing view with a warm Welcome from Claire. Everything we could of needed was there, fully equipped kitchen and that amazingly comfortable bed!! Extra touches like the Christmas Tree and the most delicious freshly made Welsh Cakes made things super special and were very much appreciated. Hot tub was so relaxing and we cant wait to get the chance to come back again - says it all x
