Description
Mountain Lodge is a comfortably furnished 5 bedroom house which was built 5 years ago. It is located in the small rural village of Mala Tsarvka, which is about a 15 minute drive to the ski resort of Borovets. The owners have 3 young children so the house is very child friendly.
Mountain lodge is the ideal place to stay to experience real Bulgaria. Everyone in the village is very friendly and you will be made to feel very welcome even though there is very little English spoken by anyone. It is a very rural and peaceful location in the mountains. The nearby ski resort of Borovets couldn't be more different with its lively bars and restaurants and as it is only 15 minutes from the house you can experience the lively atmosphere of the ski resort for a few days and the peace and tranquility of the village.
The village has a Post Office and 2 café/bars and a restaurant serving very good traditional Bulgarian food.
The house has an open plan downstairs with 4 sofas and a log fire and a large dining room table. It has a fully fitted kitchen which includes a cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, hand blender and sandwich toaster. There is Satalite TV, DVD/Video with loads of videos and dvds, a Play Station 2 with lots of games and a snowboard simulator to practice those moves for the slopes! Board games, books and toys for all ages are also in a big toy box in the living room. There is also a cloakroom and a large drying room with a washing machine, heater, clothes airer which is great space for drying wet skiing gear and a cloakroom.
There are 5 bedrooms (two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and one small room with bunkbeds). The two double rooms are en-suite, one with a shower and one with a bath, in addition there is a family bathroom.
Extras included for babies/children include a cot, high chair, baby walker,bottle steriliser, bed guard, baby toys and stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs.
The house also has a burglar alarm, fire extinguisher and smoke detector.
