Description
The Old Tractor Barn is one of 3 cottages within Crabwood Cottages. It is a fabulous holiday cottage set in farmland with wonderful views of horses grazing in rolling paddocks and chickens pecking around the old farmyard and direct access on to a bridleway.The location of this holiday home makes it an ideal base to explore the South of England enabling easy access to the magnificent cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury with all their award winning pubs and restaurants, local market towns of Stockbridge and Romsey, the New Forest with all it has to offer and even Isle of Wight, London and Bath are accessible as day trips. The Old Tractor Barn has been tastefully converted into a light and airy rural holiday accommodation with lovely views over rolling fields and forest. Being situated right on a bridleway leading to wonderful woodland and rolling countryside, it offers beautiful walks and cycle routes on your doorstep.There is a community-run village shop within 1/2 mile and The Plough, an excellent pub/restaurant within 3/4 mile. The village is also lucky to have Lainston House Country Hotel just down the road, providing a perfect venue for a special afternoon tea or early evening cocktail!!
We try to adhere to Friday/Monday changeovers but do contact me if you cannot work around that and I will see what can be done to accommodate you!

“Lovely cottage, ideal for a family”
We had a great 4 night stay at the cottage. It was perfect for a family of 4, or could comfortably house 5. 2 good sized double bedrooms and one single. Plenty of storage and lots of home comforts supplied. Lovely garden and surrounded by open spaces and countryside. We visited Peppa pig world, Bournemouth and Winchester from here.

“Absolutely lovely cottage in a wonderful setting”
This cottage was gorgeous. It was super clean and a lovely cream tea was left for us when we arrived. Debbie is a lovely thoughtful lady. My dog lost her collar and I mentioned to Debbie that I was going to have to find somewhere to get her another. Next thing there were 2 sizes put through the letter box. The setting is amazing. The woods run at the bottom of the garden, and the horses are always looking for treats. I would love to return

Had a wonderful week exploring the south of England . The weather was amazing and most importantly the cottage was superb ! Every need catered for ! lovely friendly hosts- perfect for our family of 5! Was really sad to leave

“Return visitors”
Great cottage with everything you could need, friendly host who left a thoughtful welcome basket. Great for kids with toys and books available. Fab location for lovely walks, trip to beach, Winchchester and peppa pig land all possible as a day trip.
