Spring Wood Studio Apartments offer a stylish and comfortable base for business and pleasure in Hebden Bridge.

Set in the glorious wooded valley of Hebden Dale bordering the National Trust property of Hardcastle Crags these two, well appointed apartments have recently been converted from a photographer's studio.

We offer a choice - both apartments are completely self contained and each has a spacious double bedroom, a contemporary shower room, a fully-fitted kitchen with dining area and comfortable sitting room. Studio Number 1 has a romantic Juliette balcony and Studio Number 2 has a large wooden deck ideal for al fresco eating, both have far reaching views.

“Wonderful”

Absolutely perfect quiet romantic break for a few days. A warm friendly greeting from Heather and Steve with helpful information about the property, local area and amenities. The studio was clean, modern and comfortable with beautiful views from the decking balcony. Kitchen very well equipped with everything you needed and lovely addition of tea,coffee, sugar and milk and biscuits. Fabulous modern shower room... again with the nice added touch of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided Plas lovely thick fluffy towels We cannot fault this lovely place or it's lovely owners and have already recommended it to our friends. Looking forward to visiting again soon

“Dirty apartment and rude owner”

We arrived at the property at around 330pm. There was confusion regarding the property, we were under the assumption we were on the lower ground floor. When we enquired they advised we were not and that it stated which property number on the photos (on the trip advisor website). We politely asked if the lower ground was available but unfortunately it was rented out.  Once we got into the property, it was evident that it was dirty. Please see attached photos for examples.  When speaking to the owner, she advised she had spent 2 hours cleaning, when we asked her to enter the property so we could show her the issues, she agreed it was very dusty in places. I then proceeded to show her the dirty hand prints on all cupboards, dirty cutlery, oven, draws, pots and pan and the storage, extractor ETC. She then advised me that the dirt couldn’t be removed. We wiped one area with a cloth and the dirt was clearly removed, which showed to us the property wasn’t cleaned.   The owner aggressively and rudely kept asking us if we were leaving, stormed off, told us to leave the key and go. We locked the property and placed the key back in the key safe.  The cleanliness and overall rudeness and unwillingness to listen was very upsetting.

How do damage deposits work?
