Description

For centuries the leasure life of Dubrovnik nobility took place in summer residences of Rijeka Dubrovacka, situated close to the sea, in beautiful surroundings which gave joy to the eye and great pleasure to the body and mind.

The house of Gradi (also Gradic) was one of the oldest and one of the most recognized among the patrician families of the Republic of Dubrovnik. Today, with its facilities, it offers a complete leasure experience to a family and their friends with its magical grounds, open and covered terraces, picturesque gardens and background sounds of birdsong and the sea lapping against the shore, accompanied by the scent of basil and lavander. In Villa Gradi you will experience history in vivo and feel like part of an old story which has lasted for five centuries.

This villa offers accommodation to twelve guests in seven bedrooms en suite with bath, living room, original kitchen and dining, built-in grill, large gloriet, several open terraces, cultivated gardens and off-road parking place. External stairs lead up to the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Concrete beach and mooeing place is in front of the house.

All further services are available on request including boat charter, car rental, breakfast and dinner service, sailing boat, bicycle, sea-skiing.

The House of Gradic (also Gradi) was one of the oldest (from the 12th century) and one of the most recognized among the patrician families in the Republic of Ragusa. Many of its members were Princes (Knez) of the Republic. The Austrian Empire recognized its long-standing nobility in 1 December 1817 after the fall of the Republic.
