Le Mas du Bois Dore consists of 3 Luxury Gites (apartments) attached to an 1823 stone Mas. There are 2 x 2 bedroom gites that were totally remodeled in 2010 and 1 x 1 bedroom apartment remodeled in 2011 by a professional interior decorator with French antique decor. Located in the main house is also our beautiful B&B - La Lavande.

Les Deux Chevaux (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom) overlooks a beautiful pool and La Loge du Chauffeur (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom) and La Cour (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom) are at the other side of the Mas with spectacular views of the Gorges and mountains down to the Mediterranean. The Mas and the gites are 4 km from Mons in the Var.

La Cour is the newest one-bedroom gite in the same building as La Loge. An open-plan kitchen/living room leads down a spiral staircase to the ultimate master bedroom: California king 4 poster bed, slipper tub, separate glass-enclosed shower and WC. La Cour was totally remodeled and furnished in May, 2011 by a professional decorator.

The Mas and the attached apartments are set in 2 hectares of olives trees overlooking the mountains that lead down to Cannes and Frejus (45 mins). Tour the "6 Perched Villages", discover Nice, Cannes or Grasse, hike to the Roman waterfalls in the Siagnole Gorge or spend a day by the pool with only the sound of the wind and birds to relax you.

If you wish to exercise, you can use the counter-current system in the swimming pool. For daytrips to neighbouring villages, or if you would like to explore tracks in the mountains, you can rent our electric bikes.

All gites have private gas barbeques and patios, luxurious towels and cotton sheets. Beach towels are provided for pool or beach use. L'Occitane luxury toiletries are available in all bathrooms. La Lavande B&B bedroom can be added to any of our apartments if you need another bedroom. Our on-site manager/caretaker speaks English, Swedish, Finnish and French and is ready to provide all information for sightseeing and area history. Contacts with the owner can also be in Finnish, Swedish or German.
