Description

Welcome to Graceville, an elegant four bedroom villa on the platinum west coast of Barbados. There is a panoramic, unobstructed view of the beach and the Caribbean Sea with its beautiful sunsets and the sea breeze keeps things cool.

Enter Graceville via the enclosed patio/sun room, you’ll find stunning displays of art, and high ceilings… an exquisite décor with nothing to hinder the relaxed ambience. There is every convenience and amenity to make your stay pleasing, peaceful and unforgettable. Graceville is spacious; perfect for entertaining and having fun. The entire property is enclosed with gates at the end of the drive making it safe for children to play outside.

There are 4 air-conditioned bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms (each bathroom has a hair-dryer). All bedrooms have ceiling fans and a personal safe for your valuables.

The bed configuration is as follows:-

Master bedroom - king size bed - sleeps two

2nd bedroom - queen size bed - sleeps two

3rd bedroom - 2 twin beds that can be joined together to make a king sized bed - sleeps 2

4th bedroom - double bed sleeps 1 or 2 comfortably.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cater during your stay. There is a kitchen counter top bar which seats 4, great for snacking and watching the cook at work ! There is a dining table that seats 6 people. For your convenience there is a laundry room with washer, dryer and space to hang washing.

All towels and linens are included along with maid service twice weekly.

For your entertainment there is cable TV, DVD players and flat screen TVs. Wireless internet is available so you can keep in touch and even work if you must ! There are direct dial landlines in each room; all local calls are free. Outgoing international calls are barred, however there is a 'magic jack' service which facilitates free calls to the USA and Canada.

We offer a full concierge service to our guests before they arrive and during their stay. I am very happy to help with VIP airport fast track arrival services, transfers, car hire and offer advice on any trips or activities. You are met on arrival at the property by the house manager. Once you are in residence, the house manager is available 24/7 for any property related questions.

The house is inspected yearly by the fire department and the health department and certificates are issued for both.

Graceville is located in a safe area, perfect for holidaying. There are many things to do and a huge choice or places to eat. Activities include horseback riding, island tours, hiking, tennis, yoga and water sports of every kind including jet & water skis, snorkelling and para-sailing. There are national trust properties to visit, museums and fabulous gardens. There really is something for everyone.

Graceville is 45 minutes drive from the airport and just 10 minutes easy drive south along the coast to Holetown. I am very happy to provide quotes for car hire. The buses are very frequent and inexpensive and available from just outside the villa. I can also recommend the services of an excellent drive/taxi.

“Everything You Need”

This villa was just perfect for us - my wife and I wanted to experience "living" in Barbados (we were there for 5 weeks) rather than staying in a hotel - we wanted to do all the normal things like shopping, cooking, looking after ourselves whilst on this extended break, and we also had our 2 sons and their partners joining us for 2 weeks during Christmas. The villa is a delight - so conveniently placed on the main road to Speightstown in one direction and Holetown in the other direction, just walk outside the gate and the hilarious yellow Reggae bus will pick you up and take you anywhere you like for $3.50BBD (that's about £1.20GBP) - if your nerves are up to it! Alternatively, if you don't want to go anywhere, just grab a beach chair from the garage and wander out of the gate and cross the road to the lovely Reeds Bay beach, where the sand is soft and white and the sea is gentle and warm and very safe. The villa literally has everything you will need - the owner Velta has thought of everything for your convenience - this well-equipped, spacious, comfortable and elegantly decorated home is the envy of everyone who visits the beach!!
