“Simply amazing, it felt like home!”

Reviewed 15 Sep 2014

We stayed at Casaviva(now known as Sunset Paradise Villa) for a week. Roy and his staff had definitely provided extraordinary hospitality during our stay - from airport pick up to everyday's meal were all well looked after. During our stay, Redi, Dian & Ibu made sure all our requests were being attended to. Simply from preparing our meal to having small chats/gettign to know each other. The experience was very unique, it was nothing compared to living in a resort/hotel. The service we got was way better than 5 star hotels. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay and meet the team at Casaviva for their next stay in Bali.

Response from the owner Hi Jolyn, Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are glad to hear that you and your friends have enjoyed your stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you back to Sunset Paradise whenever travel brings you back to Bali. Kind regards, Roy & RIa

“Stunning oasis with a rural and ocean view”

Beautiful styling and layout for family or couples. Every little detailing is divine. A wonderful oasis.

“Everything is taken care of there!”

Casaviva is great if you are looking for a spacious villa away from the bustle of the main tourist belt. If you like peace and quiet, or like to make as much noise as possible without feeling that you are disturbing your neighbours, this is the perfect place. What makes the Casa most amazing for us is the owner and the staff. The owner is prompt in his response, and has great recommendations on where to go around Bali, whether it is a local eatery or a high-end restaurant. The butler at the villa is great, funny and takes such great care of his guests. He also went out of his way to help send us to a nearby restaurant when one of the taxis we called didn't show. He is helped us arrange for car+driver when we did a day trip to Ubud, and also massages right in the villa. This is one villa that you do not need to worry when you book it! Everything will be taken care of!

“Seriously, no need to leave Casaviva. Everything you need is her”

Stayed for 9 days in april 2012 and loved it. Gede, our butler, was there for everything we needed and went out of his way to make our stay a pleasure. Location is a little difficult to find but if you follow the instructions given by the owner you will have no issues. As the location is very secluded, there is no need to leave. We ordered food all the time through Gede and paid the cost price plus 25% which is very reasonable when most meals were about 6-10 USD per person. This also included beer. We also ordered 3 cases of australian Semillon Sauvignon Blanc through the villa which was very reasonable considering the cost of wine in Bali. There isn't a lot to do in Pecatu (pronounced Pe-cha-tu) but it is close by to Dreamland beach, Padang Padang Beach and Uluwatu beach and temple so you can either organise a driver, taxi or motorbike for your stay and explore as you need. Really enjoyable, would come back again. Thanks Indra and Gede.

“Magic”

First time to Bali with my husband and 15 year old son, we stayed at Casaviva for 3 nights as part of a 2 week holiday in Bali. The villa is in a fairly remote location (about 10 mins off the main road and down a fairly basic dirt road). We did wonder where we were going during the drive. But when we walked in, we all went "wow". The villa is set high and is fairly new. The view is out to the coast - it is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the Poolside Suite and a Garden Suite. We were the only guests staying there at the time so we had the whole villa to ourselves. Because of the villa's remote location, we organised a hire car for 2 days, so got out and about. Recommend a visit to the Uluwatu temple. Although remote, the villa is set up well for this. Dinners were no problem - there are restaurants that do home deliveries! When we arrived, Alvin, the property manager, asked us if we needed any shopping done - we gave him a list, and he went and did our shopping for us. We also had a couple of massages while we were there. Alvin organised all these things for us. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. We were spoilt by having the villa all to ourselves, so not sure how it would be if there were other guests there. But it is an absolutely amazing place - we loved it, and would definitely stay again.

“Best Bali experience :)”

Only positive emotions. Stayed for 2 weeks in late august '11 with my wife. We got far more than expected, started surfing, explored almost the whole island, visited best spots of Bali. We couldn't do that so easily without the help and attitude of villa's host Indraneel and helpful staff =)

“Breathtaking Spot - Night and Day”

As I got off the plane, I did not know what to expect as it is my first time in bali. But the moment I arrived and I walked into the villa, I was in awe. This is truly the most beautiful accomodation venue in all of the venues that I have stayed in. Shaded and serene, away from any disturbances, you truly have privacy and space to relax and soak in the atmosphere. The team behind the villa is also an amazing lot. From breakfast to the rooms, everything was so well taken care of. It felt like I came to bali and lodged in with a group of friends. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Bali.

“Very cool design very good service”

A very nice and modern villa with 4 appartements and an area for all to share. A huge tamarind table is the meeting point for all and we met very nice people there. The Lounge area at the pool is very nice, there is an outside video system and a ton of movies to watch. We rented the poolside suite with an outstanding outside bathroom with a whirlpool. And we rented the One Bedroom Loft with a private kitchen nd living room. the service team is very caring and very good managed by alvin, the Villa Manager. We had a good time talking to Indra and Selly the owners. the villa is a little off everything, very quiet. You would need a car (The owner organized a car and a driver at a very good rate, no hassles). next supermarket is 2km away, very nice beaches are Padang Padang and Dreamland. You should visit the close Bvlgari hotel once, it is worth the money for a five o clock tea at the bar. We enjoyed it, the kids loved it, ...

“Bali Discovery”

Great Location : even without being surfer, Bukit is very interesting, wild, quiet and mystic. Follow the road to Casaviva and be patient : at the end of the road is the incredible villa. Nice, modern and Balinese, Casaviva architecture is a success. How good it is to swim at the sunset. Staff is so nice. Even with the language barrier, our children were confident with the staff.

“Close to heaven”

Me and my family, 2 adults, 12 year girl and 17 year boy, stayed at the Casaviva for 12 days in July 2011.We are all very satisfied with our recent stay in these beautiful surroundings. A perfect blend of warm service , breathtaking hilltop sea views, and a relaxing feeling. Healthy morning-breakfast , cooked and prepared every morning by the wonderfull staff. Just the place that I have been looking for. A bit far out, but very easy to get a taxi to low prices. Perfect place to get un-stressed.
