Description

This lovely 150 year old home is located on a quiet residential street just 4 blocks from the beach and within easy walking distance of all downtown attractions including the restaurants and the Washington Street mall. The house is spacious, airy and elegant with original wide pine floors, a very large dining room with a breakfast alcove overlooking the rear lawn and gardens, a modern, fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances including refrigerator with ice maker, gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, dishes, cookware and tableware. There are ceiling fans throughout the lower level as well as brand new A/C units in each of the bedrooms and living room.With four bedrooms, a sun room and 2 1/2 baths, the house can comfortably accommodate as many as ten people. Upstairs there is a king bed with en suite half bath, a full bath with twin pedestal sinks, and two bedrooms with two twin beds in each room. One of the twin rooms also has a pull out trundle bed. Downstairs there is a lovely queen bedded room with adjacent full bath. In addition there is a sunroom that can be used as a bedroom with a twin bed and pull out trundle bed. All furniture and bedding is in excellent condition. There is a laundry room down stairs equipped with full size washer and dryer as well as iron and ironing board. The comfortable living room has a large flat screen HD TV, VCR, DVD, and stereo. The king bedroom also has a flat screen HD TV. There is a screened in porch at the rear of the house with wrought iron table and 6 chairs which gets lovely cooling breezes as well as an outdoor patio that has a large oval table with six chairs, all teak, a large Weber gas grill and a very pleasant, totally refurbished outdoor shower.There is a large, fully enclosed yard, perfect for children to play in, with beautiful garden and a private rear parking area large enough for three cars. New this season - a locked, outdoor storage area for bikes and beach gear. There is also a lovely front porch with wicker furniture.The only items our guests need to bring are bed linens, towels and beach gear. This is a no smoking, no pets house.We have wireless internet access, so bring your laptops!
