Description

Small fully-furnished studio apartment with fully functional kitchen, bathroom with shower and washing machine, heating, air conditioning, pull-out double sofa (sleeps two people), table and four chairs, dresser, book shelf, desk, and a very small 1/2 balcony that looks out to the street.

Wi-Fi, BED LINENS, TOWELS, HAIR DRYER, AND IRON ARE PROVIDED. Coffee, tea, sugar, juice, milk and breakfast cookies are also provided.

You will be staying 2 BLOCKS FROM THE METRO STATION (Turro stop) that takes you to the center of Milan (4 kilometers/3 miles away) in 15 minutes or the Milan train station (2 kilometers / 1.5 miles away) in 10 to 15 minutes. Several restaurants, casual pizzerias, a supermarket, parks, bars, cafes, internet cafes and shops are all within walking distance.

Just to name the closest restaurants, the Al Vecchio Aratro Di Mario Vozzo Ristorante is just two doors down and serves wonderful Italian dishes. Il Giardino della Birra is just across the street and serves both Italian and Bavarian dishes and produces its own beer. It's very casual and friendly.

There is also an outdoor market about a block away on Tuesday mornings and a very picturesque canal (the Martesana Naviglio) about 4 blocks away which is flanked by a bike/walking trail and several parks.

Via Boiardo is a crosstreet of Viale Monza which is one of the main roads leading to Piazale Loreto, and then continues on to become Corso Buenos Aires (a major discount shopping street) which turns into Corso di Porta Venezia which leads to Piazza San Babila and the center of Milan. If you are a walker, you can walk a straight path to Milan's Cathedral in 50 minutes to an hour or stop to take in some shopping, an aperitivo, or cappuccino along the way!
