Description
This semi-detached, 18th century cottage has a peaceful hillside setting with stunning views over the South Tyne Valley and superb walks right from the doorstep. It is conveniently located just 1 mile from the village of Haydon Bridge.
Pagecroft Cottage combines the character of antique furniture and period features with all the modern comforts that one would expect for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Close to Langley Castle, Hadrian's Wall and only 10 minutes drive from the historical market town of Hexham, it is also within easy driving distance of Newcastle upon Tyne, Carlisle, Northumberland National Park, Kielder Water and Forest Park and the picturesque North Pennines and Allen Valley. A fantastic base to explore beautiful Northumberland.

“Excellent stay”
Wow, a lovely cottage. Key was readily available on arrival, Imogen came by later, lovely lady, any info needed was given plus lots of information on hand. The kitchen was well supplied with basics needed or food available in the village also given. A lovely touch of biscuits and drinks for when we arrived and fresh flowers dotted around. Bird feeder out of the kitchen window was better than TV, goldfinches, chaffinches, tits, woodpecker and a turkey! Lol great, quiet location, stunning views, easy to get to vindolanda and other attractions. Didnt want to leave, highly recommend. Beautiful part of the country.

“Wonderful cottage”
Had a wonderful week at the cottage which was very tastefully furnished. Was made very welcome by Imogen and the owners. Lovely area to stay but also as a central base for the lake district and bamburgh/holy island/berwick. Would thoroughly recommend a stay at pagecroft and a trip to hexham abbey and beamish as well.

“Just beautiful”
Absolutely beautiful cottage, very tranquil beautifully clean and more than adequately equipped. Lovely surroundings and easy access to places to visit. Would happily stay here again. Our host Imogen was a delight with tips on where to visit and places to eat. Flowers in the cottage and a few welcome treats.

“Pagecroft Cottage”
Beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful, yet there is easy access to all main parts of Hadrian’s Wall. Extremely well appointed and comfortable accommodation with every possible need anticipated. More than pleased!
