House Details
The apartment is part of a lovely new conversion of a fisherman and a basketmakers home in the historical Inner Hope part of the village. This area of Hope Cove, with its thatched cottages and lifeboat station, adjoins the National Trust land of Bolt Tail and the South West Coast Path. It is situated in a sheltered valley leading to Bolberry.
This spacious upstairs apartment, with additional downstairs rooms has views towards the sea, with the safe sandy beaches are only 150 metres level walk away. From couples to 10 people can be catered for in any combination of 4 different bedrroms and bathrooms, with some extra bedding options. Short stays and weekends are possible out of the main season with the provision of breakfast packs if required usually if taking part in a basket making course.
Accommodation:
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, 1 kingsize with balcony, + ensuite bathroom with whirlpool birth, shower over, toilet, bidet:
1 double with 2nd bathroom and large hot airing/ drying cupboard.
Open plan living room kitchen, with a double sofa bed, +TV, video, DVD. The kitchen area equipped with electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine.
There is an additional seating area on the large landing with a sofa which comprises 2 single beds, moveable if required. Wi fi access. Telephone
All linen, towels and heating are included. 2 high chairs and cots are available on request. Duvets and pillows can be feather or polyester as requested.
Downstairs: Family lounge 2 sofas + additional chairs, piano, TV, Blu Ray, log fire

4th bedroom, twin - two singles + ensuite shower room
Sheltered garden with deck ,sun- loungers and dining furniture. Seat 8. Further 4 seat table and chairs on lawn. BBQ permitted.

David Morgan is the last fulltime working crab fisherman living in Hope Cove. His boat Southern Star FY125 is moored in Salcombe. Crabs and lobsters are available to order, weather permitting.
Sue Morgan is a local teacher, artist and basketmaker who runs occasional workshops on making traditional willow crabpots and basket making.
